This book contains so many emotions, so many up and downs, it felt like being in a roller-coaster. I liked the descriptions of the inner world of the characters, their turmoil, their wars with themselves and with the world. It wasn't a bland characterization at all, showed their evolution, their growth. The description of their clothing wasn't important like in so many books, it was only mentioned to showcase and to elaborate the characters' emotions. Sometimes it was hard to read because it felt so heavy but so beautiful at the same time.

Pretty interesting so far but hope them getting together doesnt get strung along cause they are stronger together. They could be the ultimate power couple if they got together and admitted their feelings for each other. The grandfather i think just wants him to be happy and knows falling in love would do it since he is so much against it but not sure who else would get the inheritence if not for Damian. He also has his on company that he shouldnt lose.

Loving the story lines, it is not long drawn out every chapter more captivating than the other have to say the it caught me in the first chapter they have both fallen I need them to openly admit it now and just face the test together and they will surely be victorious in the mission, I have to admit his grandfather played his role so well then she comes along and plays it even better which make the chess board even more gripping

So far so good. The characters are interesting. Well written except the repetition of this being dangerous, it not being a game, or either of them starting to feel something I feel like we get that but other than that, it’s getting good so far. Would like longer chapters; that would make the story seem less slow. Everything seems too drawn out. I’m 41 chapters in so far and I like it. Will definitely keep on reading this.

I'm really enjoying this book so far. I love how well written it is from both main characters POV. I'm up to a big twist, and I'm hoping it's a good one in the sense that it doesn't let me down. My only issue with the book is that it constantly repeats particular thoughts from both characters even after it has already been solidified. But maybe it's also good for building suspense? I haven't been reading on this app for a few months or so, and this is the first story I'm intrigued by. I love the work that has been put into the characters, and their individual journeys as well as connected one. This book has a lot of humor in it as well. I'll be reading until the end, and then I'll update!

I love quick whip banter so this book was absolutely, right up my alley. It's exciting, it's sad, it's funny and sexy at times, and some parts are even relatable. This book really was genuinely beautiful to read and I found myself buying more and more coins just so I could unlock more and more chapters because I really couldn't wait the extra time to unlock with ads or daily coins and time reading coins hahaha absolutely gorgeous novel x

It’s a good novel, very interesting and keeps you engaged. A little repetitive at times, but over all has a sweet storyline. The characters have depth and personality, which is apparently hard to find in books these days, on these apps. I would recommend this novel. It’s fast paced, not to predictable and has humor, which is always a plus. The supporting characters could use a little more depth to them. But over all it’s a good read.

This novel is very different and that is why I like it. People thinking that they are in control, just to realise that they don't have control at all-just human. When Damian & Avena finally become intimate, the sparks will definitely fly. Love the fact that Avena does not bow down to Damien's every demand. I enjoy this novel, because it is totally different and unpredictable. The writer is talented-will have to search for other books. Can't wait to see how things unfold.

Carter is such an intriging character smart, ruthless, and totally in control. He and his “fiancée” compliment each other and push each other to their limit. It’s interesting to see how such powerful people are all wrapped up in a game. Like pawns on a chessboard they run their lives. I hope they can learn to just be open which each other and show their true feelings. Carter loves her hopefully their game playing doesn’t ruin everything and hopefully it is not passed on to the next generation. It’s tiring and they lose all spontaneity.
