I like Kim. She comes through as a normal down to earth kinda girl. But her marriage to Arthur might cause her to change especially with Mrs Evans around. Firstly, what an evol woman 😬 and to think Arthur trusts her so completely. I actually feel pity for Kim. She has survived so much from high school to college and now she must survive an evil aunt. It would be interesting to see how Kim will get along with Evelyn because I think they have a common enemy in Mrs Evans.

This is a subtle mystery that keep me intrigued at every new juncture. It has love, fear, discretion, greed, and promise! I can’t decide whose situation is the worse. But it all centers around Kareen and Mrs. Evans. I now believe this loving aunt really does have something to do with Arthur’s condition. There 2 very strong women and n this novel. And I believe that they will be the real winners. There is real expressions of love in this new cell. I’m m routing for LOVE!

I loved the story so much. Firstly I didn't like the concept of two different stories alongside but in the end it made so much sense. I loved all the characters and their development although it would be fine if they weren't so black and white, e.g. the sister or mother could be a little bit remorseful. Although it doesn't make any sense to me how would Mrs Evans bail out a convicted murder. In that logic any of her clients could bail her out too... That's the only fault I find there.

Not what I expected at all ! I lost it when Arthur died- so sad. I figured well maybe Kim would end up with Lucas. You kept me hanging in there though. I was still interested enough not to quit and Evy story was quite a distraction, at first I couldn’t figure out what was going on. Two totally different stories but Wham the villain Mrs Evans was the connection. I loved the character development and the strong women that took charge of their own destiny. Some flaws, pronoun issues, misspelling, and some other grammatical errors but all easily fixed with editing. Thanks for a finished book with no unanswered questions and not dragging it out but not really making the book worth much. Great story, great characters, great job!
