This wasn't my usual genre of reading material but I throughly enjoyed it. The plot was well written and the characters were believable. The whole scene between the two main characters was at times gripping and intense, with the on the edge of your seat action. Now I have read something from this genre I will try another one. This book is a great read, and will not disappoint you, it didn't disappoint me and I'm picky!

A well written novel full of jealousy, hate, and passion. The twists and turns in the lives of all the characters threw up some surprises throughout the entire book. The amount of intrigue and backstabbing kept the reader wondering “What next?” The characters were believable and I felt invested in the two main characters throughout. I particularly felt for Dean who had strong feelings for one of the main characters but put his own feelings aside for the happiness of Evelyn. There were a lot of strands within this story which came together beautifully at the end.

This is an intriguing story. I like the mystery happening. I’m not good at writing a book review. I want Marcus and Evelyn to get together. She still loves him but he’s such a wuss. I’d like to see him smarten up and tell everyone to f&@k off. Take control if he so in charge, tell his mother to back off as well. Evelyn needs to tell everyone to back off as well. Quit being so agreeable.

Slow start and seems to take forever for simple scenes to play out and then important scenes seem to be rushed. Plot is good with some twists. I had a hard time really feeling the connection between Evelyn and Marcus. Doesn’t seem to have passion. Maybe it was too much from the past. Would be nice to have a little more description of what the characters look like too. Overall a good book, I read the whole thing without losing interest.

This story gave me everything I wanted in a good read. It had intrigue, suspense and action. The only critique was the heroine was too naive for my taste. Wish that she was less trusting. Her character could have been developed more. The story also didn't answer the question if Marcus found out about being tricked about the paternity of Olivia's baby. The ending left a few unanswered questions about the protagonist and what happened to them after the arrest.

This is a great novel. Usually I can predict what is going to happen by the end, this one I can also but all the issues in between are a good distraction to the final outcome. I think I know how this is going to go, but another biatch tries to stop our couple from being together. I’m still rooting for our main couple to be together, but I can see where it would and could take a nasty turn. Go Evelyn and Marcus!!

I’m not really enjoying this book so far, the Female Lead is so much of a pushover and Male Lead is such an idiot and keeps falling for the schemes of women in his life controlled by his evil cousin. It doesn’t even make sense for how they meet up again. I like multiple points of view but this one has so much by the diabolical step-sister she seems like the female lead. There are also more than one descriptions of them watching soap operas which I find a little weird in a book but the drama is sooo over the top just like a soap opera. 🙄

Good read. Full of action and interesting characters.I enjoyed the descriptive scenes involving the family. They made me want to jump into the novel and shake them to their senses. It reminded me of people that I have been involved with.People that only care about your bank accounts and your placement in society. They think they are always on the right side and will not let you forget who they are and who their friends and relatives are.

Very good book to read... I Loved this book... It could have used a few more chapters to finish up the wedding... Other than that it's a great book... I recommend this book for reading... I'll be looking for more books from this author... If anyone has any good book to offer I'd like to check them out... Is there a second part to this book if not I think there should be... Maybe a sequel of sorts... Looking forward to more feed back...
