The novel did pull me into the story of Harriet & Damien. They certainly survived quite an ordeal. But…I must admit that I’ve never seen so many errors in one story. It was sloppily written, wrong pronouns, timing was off (6 months to have a baby?!?), the whole style of writing changed several times as if multiple people were writing it, and finally, the last 20+ chapters were written (or at least printed) as one large paragraph. It made reading it more difficult as it ran all together. Plus I think 89 chapters was a bit extreme. I’ve already cancelled my membership to this club so I won’t be reading any others but I hope they are better written

I like this books so far. It’s got a very good story. Now I have to come up with more words to post this so don’t pay any attention to rest of it. But if I can do that then I’ll do the rest and I can get you some rest tonight or I will do the same as I did yesterday or the next time you want me too I just want you know how to get

It’s a very exciting book but so much of what happened could have been avoided if Damian had half a brain… Ever heard the saying of it walls like a duck and quacks like a duck then it must be a duck…. yeah he stepped up when things mattered but his inability to see thru fake-o Evelyn caused Harriet so much pain and heartache…And I still think there is so much to this Tony character that we don’t know yet… can’t wait to see what happens.

It kept me guessing and it was a great storyline , I loved it it was sad to see the two brothers so far apart and so jealous of each other , and it was good that Harriett got away from him and gave birth to the beautiful twins ,and a good friend in tony he helped her so much with the children and helped her heal as well , the story had lots of twists and turns and I’m so glad they got back together and had their fairytale ending

So far, so good. It’s a great read but I like hard loved for the author to upload the story in stanza format or a conversational flow where the entire story isn’t compressed or lumped up together as she has it. It’s so difficult to follow she read trying to read through a long paragraph conversation. Next time, separate direct from you’re from explanations so we can easily identity who is making the speech without sifting through so many words otherwise, great book and the characters are relatable

Content was sort of adorable. Could have done without so much profanity. Hard to access chapters. Text seemed to be transliterated from Asian culture, which caused typos, and incorrect wording in English. There seems to be a reoccurring theme....Girl gets rejected, Girl runs away, Girl returns prettier, richer, worldlier..... Guy see his mistake, Guy attempts reconciliation as savior, hero and or scmuck. Then Girl initially rejects guy while secretly desiring reconciliation until she doesn't. They live happily ever after.

Again the story was not terrible but the writing was difficult to read at times. I understand that it is probably the translation that is making it difficult but that’s why proofreading is important. You can’t help but hope for Harriet to find happiness and at some points of the story I didn’t really care who she ended up with as long as she was safe and happy and felt loved. There were a few instances of things that sounded far fetched but that’s fiction for you.

Plot: 4.5/5 Grammar & Spelling: 4/5 Formatting: 1/5 Well written/translated(?) for the most part, you can see some errors (incorrect names, words that should be another word, etc.) but those are minimal with how much content is provided. However, the formatting after about 1/3 of the book is non-exsistant. It’s all one blocked paragraph per chapter. If you’re well vested into the story, you plug along through that issue though for this reader - I get a headache. But I think it’s worth my while to go on…

I really enjoyed this book. The author out did themselves with the creativity, allowing the reader to envision what each character was trying to accomplish. The author also makes you have a love-hate relationship with each of the characters. I caught myself frustrated at times with the character, decisions within the story, but it worked out in the end. I recommend this book to anyone that is looking for a love story and wanting to laugh at times. Wonderful book!
