The Arranged Bride Reviews
Melissa Saucier
I am enjoying this novel. There are some grammatical errors but overall it is fun to read. The main character is enjoyable. Nick has already learned a lot. I will be interested to see how the story plays out with her friends and husband as they do not like him right now. What about her family where are they want to known more about them and why they even offered this to their daughter. The plot could use a little more development.

It was an interesting novel. It started off really good but it felt completely rushed towards the end. There were a few chapters that completely jumped the timeline and it just left me a bit confused. I had completely followed one chapter and then the next chapter jumped the timeline and left me wondering who the hell was this new character and there weren’t any chapters to lead up to this character. Overall it was a good book but it would have been nice to not miss so many details in between chapters.

In "The Arranged Bride" by M. Mukhopadhyay (often associated with the pen name Maatii), the author delivers a captivating billionaire romance that balances trope-filled excitement with genuine emotional stakes. The story centers on Nicholas Carter, a cynical single father, and Sophia Jones, an independent woman who refuses to be the submissive bride tradition might expect. This dynamic creates a refreshing "enemies-to-lovers" spark within the forced proximity of an arranged marriage. Maatii’s strength lies in the character of Sophia; her wit and refusal to "bow down" provide a sharp contrast to Nicholas's controlling nature. The inclusion of Nicholas’s young son, Ethan, adds a layer of warmth and vulnerability to the plot, making the stakes feel more personal than a standard corporate romance. While some readers may find the grammar slightly unpolished in digital versions, the addictive pacing and high drama—featuring everything from jealous exes to heartfelt family moments—keep the pages turning. It is a passionate, high-energy read for fans of contemporary romance who enjoy seeing a "cold" hero melted by a strong-willed heroine. Highlights Protagonist Dynamic: A battle of wits between a billionaire and a woman who refuses to be silenced. Heart-Tugging Subplot: The bond between Sophia and young Ethan provides the book's emotional core. Genre Appeal: Perfect for fans of the "forced proximity" and "billionaire" tropes. Reader Verdict Vibe: Addictive, steamy, and dramatic. Character Win: Sophia's independent voice makes her a standout lead. Ideal For: Readers who enjoy web-novel style pacing and high-stakes romantic tension.

This ended up being a fun story, even if it didn't start that way. There was a lot that Nick and Sophia had to go thru to find a way to be together and give Ethan the home he deserves. I thought Ethan's biological mother was going to be an issue, turned out there was another evil person just wsiting for a chance. I don't want to give it all away, did Sophia's friends finally see the real Nick and what Sophia sees in him?

The story line made a brilliant novel and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. I must say that the length of each PoV or rather the number of paragraphs, that was repeated through each PoV was really excessive. If the PoV's were less repetitive, the novel would probably have only been 30 or 40 chapters. Paying through coins for repeats made it a very expensive novel to read. I also thought that the ending was a bit soon, but probably because I just wanted to carry on reading.

Enjoying it so far. Curious to see what happens and if they can both fall in love with each other by the end of the book. I don’t like the fact that I can only read one chapter per day as I do not want to pay for extra chapters. So for now I just wait until my one chapter per day is available. At this rate it will take me a really long time to finish this book….

Really liked the novel, was a bit different from the contact marriage novels that I read until now. I really like when have childens in the plot, and in this one the love for a a children that is not your can show really well some realities, that we can be loved from the ones who really want to love, this doesn't matter if is our or not, the desire to commit make work and show the love, for the ones beside us!

Guest in room 306 paid for one person was very upset about having to eat in the breakfast area. Wanted a refund however was trying to eat for Sign stating no food beyond this point You just want coffee you said that I wouldn’t really pay attention. Trying my best to live life to the fullest. Im really boring. Single-ish 😅 no children.. I sometimes claim my niece and nephews as mines. Because that where all my money go too. I have been hospitality management since 2019 now. L

I really love the storyline. I really love the characters. I love how Sofia love Ethan more than nick and I think Ethan was the main reason she accepted the marriage proposal. Both main characters have grown a lot from their prospective thinking about each other. I would like to get a little more of her family involvement in the story because after they got married, her parents were not mentioned any more. Sofia have a great relationship with her in-laws beautifully.

The story is good, although there is some grammatical errors quite often. And the hole dubbel chapter thing, to read the exact same thing just from another pov that’s just making the reading frustrated. If the would have been some different in them an to keep the story going it wouldn’t be a problem. The chapters are short and just as some others review that makes the chapters quite expensive, I’ve just unlocked the lasts chapters just so I can finish the story. Hopefully that won’t be a disappointment..
