One Weekend with the Billionaire Reviews
Candace Elaine Edwards-Foreman
One weekend with the billionaire is a very good novel. Jeff is a scumbag to the Earth who do not deserve his wife. Plus the fact that he is creeping and she doesn't know could devastating and a betrayal to their marriage vows that he is having affair with someone at his job. Julia is being naive in regards to trying to keep her marriage vows with Jeff when Jeff is not honoring his wedding vows. Braxton is a romantic person who was attracted to Julia from the time he first saw her but he is kind of deceiving her by not telling her what is going on with her husband. On the other hand, he is right but not telling her up front because that will backfire since he wants her totally. All in all Ms Moondragon I am enjoying the book. Keep up the good work!

So far reading this book is almost like reading somebody’s diary with the way it’s written. It gives a little stalker vibe from Braxton. And the abusiveness from her husband, whether it be physical or mental and in this case, it’s both. But I am enjoying the book so far. And now to see what happens next in this relationship between Julia and Braxton, and of course, the idiot husband. Happy for the final turn of events and the way the book ended.

Very detailed and the story line was great. Was a fast and quick ending. Could’ve used a few more chapters to lead into the end. Great book until the last chapter. Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah I don’t know what else to say. Very detailed and the story line was great. Was a fast and quick ending. Could’ve used a few more chapters to lead into the end. I am really enjoying this novel so far. I really hope that it keeps going at the rate it is going now. I also appreciate the different details that the author has told us about at this point. I really can't wait to see what happens next and to see how this novel will end. I really hope that it works out for the young lady and that everyone gets their head out of their ass and starts to pay attention to what they need to do. I'm really happy that Braxton and Julia worked out for the best. I don't really like the part where Jeff died but I do understand why it had to happen. I'm really happy with how this novel turned out and I would suggest this to anyone to read.

This novel had me gripped from chapter to chapter. The irony of a Julia so unassuming and oblivious to her worth who finds love through the selfishness of Jeff who made her feel worthless in the first place was such a pleasure to read. Having Braxton who originally thought her beautiful visually then realise she was just as beautiful inside, should have made her strong and confident, but years of being mentally and physically abused still had her doubting herself. It was good to see the strength of love take so many twists and turns, but love did prevail in the end. I'm an old romantic and loved it.! 😍

I must start by saying that this is not my usual type of story, but once I got into it I was hooked, I especially like the way that the author tells the story from the perspective of the both lead characters and how there viewpoints are different but strangely very similar, a sensual and tense story of love and hatred, possession and freedom. And the twist, well I don't want to spoil it for anyone but lets just say, I didn't see that one coming!! Now I just have to find another story to occupy all my spare time and hopefully it will be as good as this was.

Although well written, some terms were repetitive. Some chapters especially Braxtons’ could’ve been longer, more information about specific events could have enhanced the story, like having a conversation with her parents while in hospital. The initial law suit wasn’t realistic but fun to read, I think in future all events need to be actually what happens in the real world to help with making the story feel more real, than a fictional romance story you can find anywhere.

Not sure I can write 80 words but will try. This was an interesting story of love. It wasn't anything profound. Pretty simple in many ways. Read like a B Movie. I wanted Julia to be more empowered by Braxton's love. Wanted her to be more active in deciding her life once she realized her worth to herself. Going back to her husband the second time seemed unrealistic. Why wouldn't she have gotten her own apartment and divorced him. Why did she think she needed to live with him again. Maybe being a martyr was all she could visualize. But that wouldn't have set up the ending. The author must have thought that would be more exciting. And of course it was a story and most stories really don't reflect real life anyway.

I love a good romance novel but this one was amazingly great. I enjoyed reading every chapter. I was so intrigued couldn’t wait to find out what happened next. It was hard to stop until it fell out of my hands and fell asleep reading. This book had class and not full of drama. I could easily lose track of time reading it as I did many times for me that was a true sign of a good book.
