Good so far i reminds of another novel i read. Characters are different storyline is somewhat the same. What always baffles me is the leading man is always a ruthless billionaire,who is always easy manipulated by his 1st love. Who always comes back scheming against the wife. While the wife is always on the defense and have to prove herself. I understand why she wants her mothers belongings back. But at what cost her freedom from a husband who only realizes he loves her when its too late.

Just when it was getting to will she or won't she the novel cut off no ending whatsoever,so will it be finished or will we be left hanging about what the outcome will be why do some of the writers leave the stories unfinished do they lose inspiration for the stories which are great stories but have no ending.it would be beautiful to see an ending to this story I for one will be waiting to see Lily and David story having a happy and loving end.

Great story, many twists and turns. Resilience of love comes through strongly. This story shows what can happen when people aren’t honestly talking about emotions. Long journey to happiness. AND and and and and and and and and and and and and and and nd and and and love love love love love love love love emotional emotional emotional emotional silence silence silence silence silence silence confusions confusion hurt hurt hurt hurt hurt hurt. Eventually love kindness openness and honesty

I can not believe David. So selfish and entitled. Marina classic gold digger without brains under pressure. She would never be close to Lily. Evan and Jacob both sweethearts and the cherry on top David’s mom love for Lily. The point where everything goes from wrong to right the idea is true love conquers all being redefined into the modern business world is priceless. Can there be a sequel for Evan’s love life? Please it would be awesome.👏

Ding ding ding ladies choose your weapons. A story of a man who finds it hard to keep up with his dance card. Interesting how his wife supposedly on paper only, tries so hard to keep her feelings intact when his old girlfriend shows up after 5 years. David is having trouble dealing with his divorce rumors and ruining his reputation if his behavior with his old girlfriend is made public. Will be interesting to find out before it’s too late if he can figure out who his true love really is. Wife or girlfriend!

This is a good story so far!! Let's see if David and Lily stay together. Just hope not to much outside drama happens. Like the mother scolding her son. I hate when the female lead gets treated like trash!! Why does her life have to be made so hard through out the entire story!! She is having it hard enough living with a husband that doesn't care for her!! Maybe he can actually show her some tenderness!!

It was a pretty good book. Very repetitive phrases though. Like how many times do you have to say someone’s face or expression is unreadable. David’s face was never readable but then she could tell things by looking at his face. Doesn’t make sense. I feel the book should have been edited better. Halfway through Jacob became Jabco or something. Also some sentences didn’t make sense be cause words were left out I believe. I did enjoy reading it even with all the errors. At times it felt someone else was writing or maybe there was more than one author. The story was interesting.

The book is great. It has a great plot and minimal side plot. I enjoy reading the confidence of the main character grow some as she tries to navigate how to gain her freedom to live her life. Reading this book is semi addictive because I constantly want to see what happens next. I do feel some of the chapters are too short and end at parts that could be combined with the next chapter to make a meaningful chapter. Overall, I’ve enjoyed reading. No typos as well.

Good read so far just confusing that the author seems to forget David’s last name MULTIPLE times throughout the story. Disappointing. Also, a little confused as to why in the beginning of the book the contract was until Marina comes back. Now that she’s back how can David blackmail Lily for 30 million to get out of the marriage? I have enjoyed the read but what is Lily a designer of? At first it seemed like jewelry then it seems like clothing. Very unclear and confusing to follow.

I’m enjoying this book, though there are no redeeming qualities of the main love interest which makes me route for other characters. There’s a few inconsistencies with the story telling- one particular one that stood out was her friend messaging her about meeting, but was at home when she got their via a different mode of transport and neither seemed upset/confused by this. As I say- I’m still hoping another love interest will appear and sweep her away!
