Olivia Dante stands in front of Valentino brewery. Her heart racing fast as fear and doubt clogs her mind. Should she go in? If she doesn't then she won't be able to do it again cause it's not everyday you make up your mind to confess your feelings to your boss. Ever since her first meeting with Luca Valentino, she has been completely hooked. For weeks, she uses every opportunity she can to watch him, secretly. After all, Luca Valentino is her boss. A man from a wealthy and powerful family. She had always thought that someone like Luca won't ever show an interest in her, but he did during a company party a week ago where he asked her to dance, ignoring the other female employees. Olivia has had hope since then and that is why she has decided to confess to him today after work. She even made an appointment with Luca's secretary just so she will be able to meet with him. She knows she might be rejected, but there's no harm in trying. With her mind made, Olivia begins to head in when a black BMW drives by, heading to the company parking lot. A smile tugged her lips as she quickly followed the car. Everyone knows Luca is the only one who drives an expensive BMW to work in a rural environment like theirs. And the only reason she follows the car is to catch a glimpse of Luca though she will still see him during her appointment. Her smile is still fixed on her face when the door opens and instead of Luca, two men in black come out tugging a guy along as well. The smile on her face faded the moment she recognized the guy. It's her brother, Julian. Why is he with Luca's men? She thought as she watched them force Julian to his knees. "Please! Don't kill me. I swear, I will pay back the money! I promise" Julian pleaded. "It's too late, the boss told us to get rid of you" one of the men replied while the other took out his gun. On seeing the gun, Olivia ran out of her hiding place. "Don't! Please don't kill him" Olivia yells, coming to a stop in front of her brother who immediately hides behind her. Julian has always been like that. Whenever he gets in trouble, instead of solving it like a man, he hides behind his sister and she's used to it since it's her duty to always protect him. "And who the hell are you?" "I'm his sister. Look, whatever he did can be talked about between us, you don't have to use that" Olivia said, pointing at the gun. "Your brother owes our gambling den lots of money and he has been given enough time to pay, but he keeps asking for more time which has run out of course" the man holding the gun said, cocking the trigger. "Your brother dies today" "Please I...." "Jack" someone calls from behind which suddenly has both men straightening, giving a bow to the man approaching them. A man Olivia recognizes to be Luca Valentino. "What's going on here?" Luca asks. "This is the rat who owes our gambling den millions. You told us to get rid of him" the man explained. Luca has always been known for his fairness and partiality. He's bound to help them, it's one of the many reasons she fell for him. "And is that why you decide to do it here? In my company? At an open space and having his sister as a witness?" Luca questioned. Okay, that isn't the kind of reply she expects, but still... "Mr Valentino, I..." "I know what you are about to say, but it won't change the fact that your brother owes me money" He said, staring at her coldly. His stare gives her the chills, this is a side of Luca she hasn't seen before. "So you will have your men kill him?" Olivia demanded. "If necessary unless he gives me what he owes. Do you have a million dollars to pay? If you don't then my men will take..." "No!" She yells, blocking Luca's men. "Don't take him away, please. I will do whatever you want" Olivia offered instead. Her last words seem to pull up his attention, giving his men a look which tells them to back off, Luca closes the distance coming to a stop in front of Olivia. At a different time, she would have blush and gush at having him close, but right now, all she can think of is that the man wants to kill her brother. "You really will do anything?" He questions, his voice jolting her out of her thoughts. "Yes!" "Alright then, let's discuss this in my office" He said. Some time later, Olivia follows Luca into the executive office. "Have a seat," he offered. "I'd rather stay this way. Your men are with my brother, hope he won't be hurt?" "That depends on your answer, Olivia" "You know my name?" Olivia asks, surprised. "Of course I do. Have been watching you just as you've been watching me" He revealed, giving her a smile. "You know, have you been doing that?" "I know of your affection for me, but here's the thing, Olivia. You and I can't be" Okay, she had been expecting his rejection but not in this cruel way. "Is it because you think I'm not good enough for you?" She asked. "It's because I think you will be a lovely fit for my brother," Luca said, throwing a picture on the table. Olivia picks up the picture to see Luca's older brother, Rocco Valentino in it. It's well known by people who work for the Valentino family and listen to the news that Luca's older brother is in a coma. "What do you mean by a lovely fit?" Olivia asks, setting aside the picture. "I will waive off your brother's debt, even give him a job which will keep him afloat if you will be Rocco's wife" "What?!" "Rocco has been in a coma for a year now and he has shown no sign of waking up. As the head of the family, he has a large sum of money he will inherit. Money my mom intend to give away to charity" "That money should be mine since I deserve it, but Mom thinks it will be best to give it off to charity just as Rocco wants, the idiot" Luca snapped, looking different from the man Olivia knew and loved. "So since I can't get my hands on the money myself, I will need you to do it for me" "How on earth do you expect me to do that?" "By being my brother's wife," Luca replied. "Well technically, I just need you to pretend to be his wife" "You are asking me to do the impossible!" She half yells. "It's not impossible. Have thought about it, all you have to do is to pretend to be Rocco's wife and claim the money. Afterall, what's Rocco is yours" "It's not and I don't want to be a part of this deceit" "So you are willing to let your brother die?" Luca asks. "I'm willing to do any other thing just not this" "This is what I want you to do, I need you to pretend to be Rocco's wife to claim my money for me" Luca said, watching her closely. "If you still refuse then I have no choice but to give the order" "No!" Olivia let out which stopped him from reaching for the phone. "I will do it" "You will?" "I will, but you can't blame me if things goes wrong" "The only time something will go wrong is if Rocco wakes up, but he won't" Luca let out cruelly which has her seeing him in a new light. He's a sick, unfeeling man who preys on the weakness of others just to get what he wants. "Don't look at me like that" he suddenly said, getting up. "And how am I looking at you?" She asks in return, watching him close the distance between them to come to a stop in front of her. "Like I'm a beast. But I'm not, I am only collecting what's mine" Taking a step back to keep some distance between them, she said. "What am I to do? Is this something that will take a day and also, let my brother go" "About letting your brother go, that will only happen when I get what I want and as for things taking a day, it won't be that simple. There will be paper work and stuff to sign so it might take a month" "A month?!" "Yes. A month! And as for what you are expected to do, I will fill you in during the trip" "What trip?" "I might stay here because of the brewery, but my family lives in Milan and that's where Rocco is. So we are going to Milan in about an hour" "But I can't leave. My brother and cousin..." "Your brother and cousin will be under my care until our deal comes to an end" he said. An hour later, Olivia boards the Valentino family jet next to Luca. She had to make up an excuse about work to Matilda, her cousin since Luca forbids her from telling anyone about their deal. "Have got your marriage certificate prepared. It's fake, but my mom won't bother to check it since she's more worried about Rocco" Luca said, sipping his wine next to her. It's her first time in a plane and she would have loved the experience if it weren't for the situation. A scared Olivia grabs her seatbelt when the plane begins to take off. It isn't until they are in the air that Olivia's nerves cease. Opening her eyes, she finds Luca gaze on her, his expression kind of made her feel weird cause the way he's staring at her is the way a man will stare at the woman he loves. His cruel reply from earlier came to her like a whiplash which had her heart hardening against him. Ever since he hurt her with his words and practically threw her feelings on her face, she has hated his guts. "You know, you look cute whenever you are p*ss*d," he suddenly said. "Are you trying to mess with me?" "Do I look like I am?" He returned with a smile. "I don't care. I'd rather we talk about Rocco" "Okay, let me make one thing clear. You and Rocco are nothing, you are just going to pretend to be his wife and nothing else" he reminds. "You've told me that and I understand. What I want to know are things about Rocco, what if your mom asks me" Olivia asks. He hands her a file. "It has everything about Rocco. Memorize it if you can cause you will definitely be asked private things about him and as his wife who have been married to him for two years, you will need to know those things about him" And so, Olivia spends the rest of the flight reading through Rocco's file. To be sincere, she's quite in awe about the things she read. Not only is he the perfect son, he is also a very good business man and it's thanks to him that the Valentino empire grew to be what it is. Aside from being every girl's dream, he is also a playboy. According to Luca's file, Rocco doesn't date a girl for more than a month. "My brother has a knack for beautiful girls. He loves the thrill of chasing and conquering and when that is over, he gets bored and discards them moving onto the next beautiful thing that breezes his way" Luca suddenly said, having noticed where she's reading in the file. "You are beautiful, Olivia and I'm quite glad that he's in a coma and won't be able to see it," Luca adds. A car and a driver were waiting when they got to Milan. "My family are all waiting to meet you" Luca told her as they got into the car. "Your family being how many?" A nervous Olivia asks. "Just my mom and sister and some few people," Luca replied. Half an hour later. The car comes to a stop in front of an estate. A nervous Olivia is in deep thought when she feels Luca hand on hers "You don't have to be nervous. I'm here" he tried to assure, but it only made her angry. Jerking her hand out of his, she said "It's your fault that I am here" Luca is about to give a reply when the door to the mansion opens to reveal a woman in her early sixty followed by a younger version of her. "That's my mom and sister" Luca said getting out of the car, but they didn't even acknowledge him as they got into a black jeep which whisk them off. "Master Luca, you are back" a man in a black and white uniform greets. "Good to see you Silas but where are they off to?" Luca asks, referring to his mother and sister. "They are off to the hospital. Turns out master Rocco is awake" Silas informs with excitement. Failing to see the apprehensive look on Luca's face and the fear on Olivia's. This is definitely bad news for them.....

{ Milan, Italy } While Luca and the butler Silas converse, all Olivia can think of is that Rocco Valentino is awake. It's one thing to pretend that she's the wife of a comatose man, but when the said comatose man is awake, then that she can't do it. Getting out of the car, she began to head towards the exit, ignoring Luca's call. "Where the f**k are you going?!" Luca yells when he catches up to her. "Didn't you hear him? Rocco is awake. It's all over" "Nothing is over!" he raps out, tightening his hands on her wrist. "Listen, he might be awake, but that doesn't change a thing. Our plan will go on no matter what" Luca said before getting a call. Half an hour later, Olivia followed Luca into a posh looking hospital. She watched him talk to the nurse in the front desk before heading down the hall, motioning her to follow. "How can you carry on with this when Rocco is awake?
