Interesting story - that has show such sad characters , who have managed to turn their life around and land in their feet! Then a lovely story how trust develops between Lena and itzel and then itzel and Trent and finally between Lena and Henderson . The story was slowly but beautifully moving along with a few bumps among the way. However I just hope the hints the author is dropping about Axel are not true. I hope he’s not Trent’s dad and it’s being a total fool re: paternity test he said he did

I keep reading the book in the hopes the writing would get better. However, it hasn’t changes could be made to make it better. Sometimes it seems it’s in the characters point of view and then sometimes it seems like it’s in a third person‘s point of view. It’s not very well written it, almost seems like the English is not Ava first language. I find myself re-reading sections to make sense of it. I’m spent a lot time on the book and am curious to see how it ends.
