The character this book is very complex as they've committed to be together as a family but they're communication skills are terrible the male character is clearly in love with the female character but due to childhood trauma is unwilling to share his emotions (say the phrase I love you) This is very unfair to the female lead while dealing with the sudden appearance of his mother, This is getting very interesting . The inclusion of his mother is making this storyline more dramatics to the plot

Nice story so far, lots of twists and turns, Derek is still not quite sure of his true feelings for Rachel but he’s getting there, now meeting his supposedly dead mother has thrown him back a bit, so he’s going on a journey to find out the truth, his previous lifestyle wasn’t good, way too many meaningless nights. Rachel deserves a good man for her and Zoey, and Zoey deserves a good father. Looking forward to the end to see what happens with his mother and Rachel and Derek and Zoey finally having a happy ever after.

I started reading and it was a good book. When I got to about a third of it, it started seeming familiar….. and I realized that I’d read it a while ago. But is kept reading and knowing what would happen, but it’s ok, I’m just reacquainting myself. I’m in a hurry to finish it, though, and move on to something completely unknown! That’s not to say it’s a bad read—not at all! I hope you read it and enjoy it, too!

Great story. I am so glad Rachel and Derek got their 'happily ever after', especially after so many traumatic events! I was initially so mad at Derek when he acted like such a brute, when Rachel informed him of her pregnancy, and thought, 'Serve him right!' when he got the shock of Zoe's existence and was subsequently rejected by Rachel. However, his willingness to move to Atlanta and take on his dad role, was rather touching. There were many exciting twists - the resurfacing of 'Yasmin', Alfred the credible personality who could verify it all, Cassie and her dramatics, Sam and the kidnapping. And through it all - Jonah the forever friend; Rob, his partner and Rebecca, the supportive family; Elaine, the dependable nanny and the unswerving love between Rachel and Derek, that stood the test of time!

This is becoming interesting I like the twist of this story. Hope Derrick will dig deep to out the truth about his mother and father and find out what really happened before he was born. Let's hope Alfred will come clean and clear up any misunderstandings and reveal the truth about Yasmin's past pain and I can't wait to find out what will happen on Rachel birthday party if madam Yasmine do eventually throw the party. How will Derrick feel if it turns out his mother was telling the truth
