Chapter 1

Alexandra POV

"Time up!!"

The booming voice echoed through the silent exam hall, signaling the end of the final exams. A rush of relief washed over me; finally summer awaited, a tantalizing prospect after the rigors years of college.

I will confess, I, Alexandra, a self-professed loner, found solace in my solitude, I mean who wants to be caught up in all the drama.

As the last echoes of the exam room faded away, I couldn't suppress a smile at the prospect of the next phase: internship.

The notion of diving into the professional world excited me, and I  couldn't wait to embark on this new journey.

"I just can't wait," I whispered with

a sense of anticipation dancing in my eyes. With exams behind me, I  reached for my phone, not only to check the bus schedule but also to ponder the array of companies where I could potentially apply for an internship while awaiting my results.

"Oh, the bus arrives in 5," I exclaimed, quickening my steps as I made my way to the bus stop. Under the warmth of the sun.

In those moments of waiting, I meticulously scrolled through my phone, researching and scheming through the various companies that might offer the internship experience I'm looking for.

Hmm, Starlight Ent., that'll be a pass, an old perv weezle owns the place, i shuddered at the thought.

A few minutes later, the bus arrived, with hoppy steps i hopped on board, I looked around searching for a window seat. Then I saw one at the fore back of the long bus.

That would do, I smiled to myself as I swiped my card, paying the bus fee as I walked to my seat. I sighed as I sat with a plop, pouting. I wonder what movie should I watch on getting home. I smiled at the thought of eating ice cream and all cooped up in a blanket like a dumpling.

Few moments later, the bus came to a stop at my usual bus stop. I immediately alighted the bus, while still making sure I didn't leave any of my belongings on the bus, due to my overexcitement on having finshed my exams.

I walked into my apartment building, and ran straight for the elevator, I had to pee, and my house was in the fricken 14 th floor, ugggh

I waited not so patiently in the elevator as a soft music played in the background, usually whenever I use this elevator, the music actually makes me feel more relax, but right now, I can't help but feel p*ss*d, and i badly needed to take a piss.

Ding

Ugh finally, geez, I quickly ran down the hallway towards my apartment. I frantically searched my bags for my keys, but at this very moment, finding my keys where like looking for a needle in a fricken haystack.

Then I felt the iron metal against my fingers, followed my a silent jiggle.

Yes!!

Taking my keys in a firm grip a turned to the door and tried inserting it in. I opened the door, throwing by bag to God knows where, and ran for my bathroom.i hurriedly tried to take of my jeans, which where tight fitted by the way, wow what a day to wear these. I quickly pulled down my underwear.

I sigh relief as I seat in the toilet, easing myself. Phew, thank God, in any moment now I would have p*ss*d my self, I sighed as I stopd up, flushed the toilet and washed my hands, finishing up my business.

I came out of the bathroom and accomplished look on my face .

"Now let's go Netflix and chill"

______

With my tear stained cheeks, and a spoon that once had ice cream, in my mouth, i just sat there, on my couch as, the cast of the movie played. I don't know why I'm crying,  I was watching the movie," Miracle Cell"  it's just too sad.

I glanced at my wall clock, it's already 12am, I need to get some sleep, I sighed as I got up from the sofa, clearing the mess I made, I threw all the chocolate wrappers in the waste bin. Dusting my hands I made my way to my room, deciding to just take a quick shower, and brush my teeth.

Hey don't question my hygiene okay, I'm just a little bit tired.

I came out of the bathroom, after finishing my business, I walked towards my wardrobe selecting an appropriate pyjamas to wear, then walked to the Air Conditioner, and setting it to 16 degrees, I don't know why, but i love sleeping with my air conditioner on, it's a must.

I sighed as I cuddled with my soft quilt, a smile plastered on my face.

Adrian's POV

The blaring sounds from my alarm clock, woke me up from my dreamless slumber.  Checking the time, a mere 5:30 AM glowed on the clock – an hour when the world still slumbered.

I swiftly got up tossing the duvet off of me, sitting in an upright position. I sighed as I ran my hands over my face. Today's gonna be a long day.

With a purposeful stride, I traversed the marble floor, cool beneath my bare feet, heading to the ensuite bathroom.

I reached for my personalized toothbrush, The bristles moved with practiced precision, a symphony of order in the early morning quiet. I looked at myself in the mirror, can life getting any more boring, I spat out the toothpaste that had foamed in my mouth, rinsing it off with water.

I walked towards the shower. A steaming shower followed, the water a cascade of awakening that cleansed away any remnants of sleep.

A few minutes later. Emerging, droplets of water clung to my form as I enveloped myself in a plush towel. Before the bathroom mirror, my gaze met that of a man who is tired but has no time to be tired. That's what I wanted right?,work, nothing but work, drowning myself in a sea of files and papers that needs approval or my signature. Was that the kind of life I really want to live.

The closet awaited, an array of meticulously organized suits standing as a testament to my penchant for order. Today, a dark ensemble called to me – a charcoal-gray suit paired with a waist-coat and black silk tie, its subtle pattern a nod to calculated sophistication. The trousers, tailored to perfection, completed the ensemble.

A subtle application of cologne infused the air, a calculated touch.

I made my way down the hallway, towards the spiral stairs, that leads to the grand floor, each step echoed in the stillness of the early morning. The living room, untouched by the outside world, served as a fleeting sanctuary before I entered the underground garage.

Rows of luxury cars awaited in the dim light, but my choice was clear – a sleek black sedan. The engine's purr resonated as I settled into the leather-clad driver's seat, the villa gates opening to grant passage.

The drive to Sterling Enterprises was a seamless journey through the quietude of dawn. Parking in my reserved spot, I observed the imposing skyscraper that bore my name. The CEO had arrived.

In the lobby, Miss Kim, my trusted assistant, awaited with a respectful nod. The efficiency in her demeanor spoke of years of collaboration. As she conveyed the day's schedule,

"Mr. Sterling, you have a meeting with the financial team this morning by 8 AM sharp" I absorbed the information with a focused expression

"Anything else" I asked as I stood in front of my office door, unlocking it with my biometrics.

"No sir,but if they're any, I'll let you know"

I gave her a curt nod, as I opened the door, a light beep resonating from it.

I walked towards my desk, setting my briefcase on it, talking off my suit jacket, and placing it on over my chair.

I sighed as I sat in my seat, I closed my eyes as I try to get my sh*t together,

"I need a cup of coffee" I said rather out loud.

"I'll go get it for you sir" Mrs. Kim said, turning her back to me as she made her way for the door.

"No!" I interrupted her movements, " I'll go get it myself" I said as I glanced at my watch, yet again, it read 7 AM, the cafe just few blocks away must have opened already. I sighed as I get up from my seat, picking up my suit jacket, making my way for the door.

I badly need that cup of coffee.

Chapter 2

Alexandra's POV

The morning sun cast a golden glow on the streets as I slipped into my running shoes, the promise of a new day fueling my energy. With each step, the brisk air greeted me, and the rhythmic pounding of my sneakers against the pavement became a comforting soundtrack.

My breath formed delicate clouds in the chilly morning air, and the quiet city streets provided a serene backdrop to my invigorating run. The steady beat of my heart synchronized with the rhythm of my footsteps, creating a symphony of vitality.

After a satisfying run, I stumbled upon a charming cafe on the corner. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee beckoned, tempting me to indulge. The bell above the door chimed as I entered, and the warmth of the cafe embraced me.

Ok how do I do this, it's just to order a cup of coffee, nothing much right.

Ok, 'hi my name is alex, and I would...' wait I'm not meant to say my name just say i want to
