I absolutely love this story. The Mafia boss, the sister who will do anything for her family. A few twists you won’t see coming, but when they happen, it’s like “Wait?!?!? Hold up a minute.” The passion between the two is hot, but denied by both. A betraying ex, conflicts, I have a feeling that it may endin a cliffhanger and can’t get to book 2. The character development is entertaining while being endearing. Kudos to the author for such a good story!

I truly love the story from the beginning. Love the caracter too, the intrigue is good and if you speak fluently italian , it will be easier to understand some part ! As far as I am in the story , I can't stop reading it . I truly think is worth to continue the reading and hope the intrigue and caracter will continue to be be be be be be be be be be be be be be be

I love these mafia novels. There are few English mistakes. I just wish that there were English translations added to the Italian parts. Ellis is a strong female character. I would recommend this to a couple of my friends that share my tastes. Vittorio really needs to learn how to treat a woman he would like to be with. He seems completely clueless and it's frustrating at times. Great plot twists. Look forward to reading more from the author. XOX

Full of information that’s intriguing secretive explosive and a damm good read. Can’t express how this story makes me go through all the emotions like I’m on a roller coaster. Different to other mafia stories regarding the plot which makes it a nice refreshing story to read I’ve recommended it to a few of my friends and they always ask me what’s going to happen next and it’s very hard to not spill all the secrets

My impression of the mafia are all book & movie related but I am a romantic at heart & I strongly want to believe that love & faithfulness go hand in hand. While I understand their relationship is new but fkn your ex on your wedding night even for information concerning his father's death doesn't sit well with me at all & my feelings for him are tainted by it. I love how she challenges him constantly but also aware they will eventually fall in love & forgiveness will follow xox Wowwww amazing, thank goodness the next book is available. Very unexpected twists, very excited to read further xox

First half of the novel got me interested by the middle I was hooked. Had too have more of Don Vittorio and Ellis. My favorite genre with these type of genre. Also my weaknesses are Italians , reading this book made me think of how much I need to learn Italian. I feel all warm & fuzzy when I read the pages , Can't wait for the others in this series. Over- all awesome novel.You did good on this one let's on others.

So far, I’m really starting to enjoy this story. In terms of the novels that I read, I do prefer to read the ones that refer to the mafia so this is right up my alley. I love how independent and strong the character of Ellis is. Despite her having a connected feeling to Vitttorio, she doesn’t let it show because they still have a business marriage which I thinks shows her courage and willpower. I also like the surprise twist regarding Vittorio’s dad’s death mixed in with his mom and his ex-fiancé as well.

This story is well written and extremely detailed. Vittorio is something else first you for her hand, like that she challenges you, changes the prenuptial agreement, and still have time to go sleep with the last person you could’ve chose to sleep with. This is getting spicy but what does he expect when he isn’t seeing how he forced her to do it. I hope they over come this I’m still reading and I’m still Hopeful for them.
