OMG another good book, wow I love this story it is really good and interesting, they have so much passion and now she loves him, and I do believe he love her too, I think she should just be honest to Candy, she may understand or she may not be it is what it is. The mom and stepdad definitely needs help, the mom needs to stop messing around and go to those AA meetings for real and I hope the don’t hurt J, now the way you describe Trey I’m thinking he looks like Michael Ealy over here lol and that’s one good looking man, okay it time for more, OMG Just finished it so good

Aside from the many grammatical errors and editing oversights, the novel was good. Kinda figured from start that Kiara's one night stand was with Candy's brother. However, I didn't expect Candy to react so negatively. I'm glad they rekindled their friendship. Candy's girlfriend Patricia was wrong for not telling her that she was in another relationship before inviting Candy to be with her in NY. Strangely, I was rooting for William and Lucinda to get right and be happy. Sad that Maggie passed in such a tragic way but William survived. Was hoping Maggie would pull through to see her first grandchild be born. Still shocked at Kiara's mom's reaction and behavior. It's almost as if her mom was living vicariously through Kiara's child free life. Story was entertaining, comical, and erotic. Addressing issues of alcohol and drug abuse along with domestic violence and the long term effects those situations have on all involved was nicely done.

I feel so sorry for Trey going through hardship for 4 years and still fending for his siblings but his alcoholic and selfish mother spent all the money to fuel her addiction making Candy and J think he abandoned them after calling the police on their dad and making him run away.I am glad they finally learnt the truth.I wished Kiara and Trey would stop being scared and enjoy being together.I wish Lavender and Jordan burn in hell

I love the characters. Perfect amount of spice and plot. Only critique would be how quickly Trey went from no relationships to being in love with her without a lot of internal struggle and denial. Also not enough context to understand why they both think Candy would think them being together would be an ultimate betrayal. Interested to understand why Candy has ghosted Kiara and Trey too considering she just realized there was no reason to hate him. That is another confusing part, why Trey was close to his siblings, raising them and all but had no contact in years. Being busy at school and training in his job doesn't cover the complete absence.

I thought the story was beautiful. The characters played a significant role in the story. I loved Trey and Kiara. When you meet someone, you never know what to expect from this person. They had own struggles they were going through, they understood each other. Both sides of the parents were out of control. Sometimes family can be the worst. Kiara sister, was a totally bitch who was always jealous of what Kiara had and was becoming. These family members thought they could tear the down but they only persevered. Candy may have been here bff but she was jealous that Kiara was with her brother and not with her.

I truly enjoyed reading this story. This story is a must read. Some parts make you mad and some parts will have you crying, so have your Kleenex ready. At times I wanted to choke lavender and candy. I was glad that William turned his life around. I admitted th at the story is a real page turner. You will not be disappointed with this story. I love this novel. It's so Hot and a page turner. I can't help but love Trey and his cocky but soft attitude with his woman,. Trey's father is getting on my LAST nerve and his mama is right about there too🙄. I'm nervous about people finding out about the relationship, but at the same time. Forget e everyone and hold on to each other! 'm very excited to see how the end will turn out.

This was an amazing love story! I would highly recommend reading this! It was definitely a page turner! I can’t wait to find other books from this author! It has all the spice, family drama, and love that your heart can desire. It’s a relatable story in some aspects of my own life. I don’t know of anyone that doesn’t have drama with a family member. The other part that stood out, true love, running from it because of the walls you’ve built to protect your heart.

The storyline is really very good and very believable. I thought the characters were well developed. I did think Candy going radio silent the whole time she was in New York would have worked better if she had at least let them know she arrived safely. The session in the kitchen of the restaurant was working for me until Alex got there but the writing kept it from becoming too strange. I still wish Magnolia had lived and maybe gotten back with William.
