OK, this book had problems from beginning to end and I just kind of skimmed the end because it was getting very redundant. There are so many errors characters changing names. What country are we supposed to be in because they’re going to Denver New York in Los Angeles but it just really doesn’t make sense. These are not. It’s just not written well the author had a really good premise and really could’ve taken the story somewhere that was good, but it ended up just being like trying to run through a swamp.

Why does Alison’s character have to be so naive and gullible? Her father and his family constantly abuses her that even their house staff thinks it’s okay to talk down to her. She still doesn’t understand that Josh always saves her. Why does she think that Harry was the one that saved Cher from the police station when she didn’t even get to tell him where she was and what she needed help with. It’s very suspect that Harry showed up after all this time , I don’t trust him.

This novel HAD promise. However, that promise was quickly diminished. Settings were inconsistent, plots were inconclusive, characters were left by the wayside, character names and genders were often transposed and/or changed.... My opinion? This novel needs to either be revised or seriously edited. And yet, I find myself still in need of more words due to a minimum of 80 words in order to post a review 🤔 Why the need for 80 words when everything can be summed up in just a few words?

I love everything about the novel. How it started, how well put and descriptive each thing was from the characters and the setting and I specially loved how it ended. I was already getting disappointed with the way it was going but it ended up surprising me and I loved it! Great job author ❤️ you really out did yourself with this one. I wish there was more to it. You know. I would like to know if they actually got married and everything else that came after that for them. Hopefully you write more or a 2nd novel continuing it. Either way you did amazing!

After dragging the story on for so long, it ended quickly. There were too many awkward moments and not enough conversations with each other explaining things. Josh seems like a controlling abusive man. Is this what this culture is like? It made me really uncomfortable how often he was mean to her or when he forced himself on her, even when she said no and pleaded. Did she really love him in the end? Or was she just staying with him because he demanded it?

I have read about love at first sight.. This story tells us a lot about what love is, that it can not bought. It must come from the heart not because of material issues. It also tells us that a woman will always play hard to get if she is not influenced by possession. Even if you are a millionaire, there's is always that one person that won't be moved because of your influence . it also teaches us that once you are rich and known, it will be hard for you to get the person you desire.

The story line was good … but there were a lot of mistakes in the book … referencing her as him and him as her … there was a few characters names that change momentarily as Alisons name became Wendy … and it ended so suddenly… it would have been good if you found out what happened to the other characters at the end to tie up loose ends … what happened with Grace and Dr Andrews ? … Josh’s father’s reaction to him refusing to marry Lucille …. and Alison’s friends where were they ? but it was a good story overall …

Allison is really a piece of work. Damaged by years of being subjected to abuse and torment by literally everyone around her and unable to accept help from someone that truly cared about her well being and genuinely wanting to help her. Pushing him away and struggling to open up to him about her struggles. I can't understand how her father can treat her like piece of trash while treating Jennifer who's not even his blood daughter like a princess. Utterly disgusting! I hate and love the ending.
