Awwwwe. Such a lovely ending. To have the boy next door to secretly fall in love with you, have sex with you but move away before he finds out he is going to be a dad. To then later hire you after your get fired, admit he has been in love with you the whole time, discover you also love home and he has a son is already so much. So when you add in cheating ex-partners and betrayal of best friends, dodgy business deals, kidnapping and just drama, drama drama. There was so much packed into this little story. Very happy ending for sure.

This hooked me from the very first chapter and never let go. The plot stayed fast paced and unpredictable, constantly keeping me on my toes. I especially loved the steamy chapters, they were vivid, emotional, and added real depth to the characters relationships without feeling forced. The author balances tension, romance, and suspense so well that I found myself racing through the pages! It’s the kind of story that lingers long after you’re done, leaving you wanting more but satisfied as well!

Mir hat das Buch ganz gut gefallen. Es war schön zu lesen wie sich die Charaktere entwickeln und dass die erste Liebe manchmal doch die eine wahre Liebe sein kann. Ab und zu waren die Sprünge zwischen den Kapiteln so, dass ich kurz Schwierigkeiten hatte zu wissen wo ich jetzt bin, aber das ist nur ein kleiner Kritikpunkt. Im Großen und Ganzen eine gelungene Geschichte, die sich leicht lesen lässt und Spaß macht zu lesen. Mit Happy End inklusive natürlich!

I’m still unsure about the title of the story. Nolan is too soft to be called a “bad boy”—if anything, Jadin fits that image better, in my opinion. I hope Nolan's father never comes back to cause him trouble again. And as for Sophie, I truly hope she finds someone who brings her real happiness—she deserves nothing less. As for Coco, I forgive her. This was a lesson she needed, a chance to finally let the past stay where it belongs. Even with all the affection and love Nolan showed her, she still chose to lend Jason an ear. It’s true what they say: a leopard can’t change its spots. Lurane and his father deserve to rot in jail, especially since their wealth was never earned honestly—they stole it from others from the very beginning.

This was a great novel. It kept a great pace. The twist and turns kept me coming back. The fact that there was true happiness l, unlike other novels that have so much chaos and negativity. This novel was full of love and hope. The ending was realistic and refreshing. The characters were well developed and entertaining. The enemies had ugly characteristics, but were a great compliment to the hero’s and heroines. I will look for other books written by this author.

honestly, this was ok… it had its ups and downs like any good novel, but a lot of downs imo 😅 at times, I really struggled to enjoy Coco as a character and wished the protagonist focus could’ve been on Sophie instead… Coco just really didn’t seem to develop much as a character and didn’t really show any growth… but still, the overall premise was good and the book was still a decent read my only other frustration was how the cadence of the storyline felt a bit choppy and rushed at times 😅

It was very good book. Short to the point did not keep you waiting for the climax and you didn’t have to read 30 chapter before they go to the point. I love how the end was that the nerd got the girl and the bad guys got what was coming to them and end with a wife and another baby on the way Avery good book. I would recommend it to other people for an easy read love and adventure.

Loved reading this, did find the chapters short n so took lots of coins to read each one, but the story was good, kept moving at a good pace but there is still a lot of unanswered questions about other people in the story line, look forward to the sequel if there is one, I do hope you write more about Yolander, Sophie, Penny & what went on with them all, they appeared so often in the story but not enough answers about them

I loved the happy ending with the pregnancy. I am happy that Lurane and her dad, Douglas finally got what was coming to them. It was suspicious that Jason and Lurane both showed up at their exes homes. It was smart thinking on Nolan’s part to have Bob help in his plan to record Lurane in the kidnapping. I had pictured Bob as more of a nerdy person rather than a big muscular guy. In all I really liked the book!
