I loved this novel because it teaches us that sometimes what we think we know about someone is not what they really are. Wrapping a lie in a beautiful bow tie does not make it any less a lie. People need to learn not to learn on fear of the unknown as it is a belief. Protecting a person does not mean limiting their knowledge of the very thing you’re protecting them from. The strongest people are the ones who are underestimated
