Hmm I don’t know if I must be honest, this story is really dark and depressing. I think that the author should put a trigger warning even at the beginning of the start of the novel. The abuse that Sophia has to endure is just so heartbreaking. I keep on reading hoping that he has a change of heart, that he sets her free or that she discovers who she really is. It’s also annoying that even after all that she has been put through that she has the innocence, it is not real. I know this is fiction but it would be it’s a bit much.
