Sold to the Enemy: the Don obsession Avis

The novel held great interest, but the characters had lots of flaws. Maybe these flaws added to the story line, but where was the ending. I would have liked to see a fight to an end between a desperate pregnant woman and her evil step mother. It would have been a twist no one saw coming. The story written had me coming back, so well done. The loyalty that the Reper had was felt. Was he any better at possession when his wife was at home. He never spent time trying to talk with her. It set up his failures and made her blind decision known to the reader. Why wasn't there one last chapter with her point of view. It seems that she doesn't matter at all.
