About me

Hello, my name is Miracle Idakwo but I write under the pen name Mirex Bing. I'm an up-and-coming serial fiction writer who loves creating immersive worlds and complex characters that readers can get lost in. I've always been an avid reader, ever since I was a child staying up way past my bedtime to finish just one more chapter. There's something magical about getting pulled into a story and experiencing it as if you're right there alongside the characters. As I got older, I started dreaming about one day being able to craft stories like the ones I loved to read. I started out writing short stories and submitting them to magazines and contests. Though rejections were frequent in the beginning, I persisted and eventually had a few stories published. This gave me the validation I needed to tackle writing a novel. My first novel ended up being a sprawling epic fantasy that I spent years revising before finally self-publishing. Though it didn't become a breakout success, it attracted a small but loyal following of readers who enjoyed immersing themselves in the detailed fantasy world I created. Encouraged by this response, I shifted my focus to serial fiction. I loved reading authors like Charles Dickens and Alexandre Dumas who originally published their works as serials. The serialized format allows for more elaborate plotting and character development that unfolds gradually over many self-contained installments. When I'm not writing, you can usually find me at my favorite local coffee shop with laptop in tow, people-watching for interesting character inspiration. I also enjoy reading (of course!), watching sci-fi and fantasy shows and movies, and going on long nature walks with my loyal corgi sidekick. I feel so fortunate to be living my dream of being a serial fiction author and sharing my stories with readers.
