One of the attendees at the occasion was Alpha Callum, leader of the rogue pack admired and feared by many. Desperate to save her life from death, Clarice sent Alpha Callum a letter asking for his help. To make sure he would come to her aid, she revealed a vital secret to him in her letter. Would Alpha Callum rescue her? Or let her die at the hands of the people that betrayed her?

This was a very different story which i really enjoyed. The characters were interesting and engaging. The twists and turns of the story were interesting and unpredictable which was nice. The relationship between the characters was complex and very thorough. I enjoyed the way in which Charisse was able to come out on top after so many set backs. The guardian position was a very different twist and added a new dimension to the story and how it played out.
