Four years ago, my twin and I planned to run away from the pack together. She never showed up, so I took off alone. Now, the full moon has passed, which means waiting another twenty-eight days for Alpha Jett to reject me so I can be free from the bond. I refuse to wait in prison and be tormented by the scent of my fated mate on the she-wolf who tried to kill me. So I plan another escape. With help from those whom I believe are on my side, I gain my freedom again. When the time comes for us to break the bond, Alpha Jett will find me. He always does. But one of us will die before I let him take me captive again to his accursed pack.

This was a really fun book, and I'm glad it's part of a series. It's written well as a astand alone, but also slots into the pre established story line as well. I love the characters, including the female main character. I like the fact that hat she is multi dimensional, shows a strong independent side, is able to dtand on her own, but also has insecurities and short comings. Sometimes these novels make people out to be wonder women.
