Great story. Well written. A little repetitive in the sense of continuously bringing up her hurt. Seems like she almost enjoyed hurting him back by constantly bringing it up, although I know that wasn’t the point. Almost felt like beating a dead horse at times. I really enjoyed certain characters, like Kylian and Darius! They provided some good comedic relief. But I would definitely recommend this to others to read. Author did a good job and characters were believable.

I am on the the 41st chapter. So far the story keeps me engaged and irking to know what else is next. My only concern is when will Morsic start obsessing over Mary Ann. He knows his true feelings, but won't let anyone know. I believe he is still that insecure kid from high school and until he gets over that insecurity, things won't get better for him with Mary Ann. Spoiler! I do believe that his father and Velvera his love definitely have something to do with Mary Ann being poisoned.

I love it. Its great and exciting. Romantic. But short. Love to read more. A toch of drama. I stil need to read the rest. Then i can tell you more. Bye😁!!!!👋🏽 ADKS. Ik ga liever in het Nederlands verder. Het geweldig en leest makkelijk weg. De spanning is te voelen als je het leest. Het verhaal is ook erg goed niet de drama van elke roman. Dus echt spannend. Maar ik heb het nog niet uit gelezen. Dus ik verwacht veel meer.

Loved the novel. Sometimes I drop it cos I feel it was going on and on and scary too. However, it got me hooked and I absolutely love the transformation. The real understanding of feminism shines through completely. I think it should be developed into a mini-series cos I started mentally developing a script from the novel. I absolutely detest Cassius and all the villians. Story line was great but lots of repetitive words that made it a bit boring sometimes. It did transport me into the story with the vivid descriptions of the scenery. A lot of nuances to the Scottish clans, Irish clans and Scandinavian styled homelands and leadership. What i loved the most is how clean the romantic scenes are which makes me comfortto share with very young adults. Very well done. A great read

This story is so interesting and the feelings are gripping. It’s well written and makes the radar want to continue on. I can’t stop it just one chapter. The love story has such a slow burn that it keeps you on the edge of your seat. Then the mystery keeps your reading page after page. I can’t wait to see how this ends. You can really put yourself in the place of the characters and it keeps it so real. I highly recommend the story.

👍 its a good novel that keeps you interested. On chapter 15 so far. Seems interesting. Hate having to watch ads to read more. Where did Adrian go when she got sick. Did he try and visit. Why would he not think its the mistress. Why would the dad care if he wanted this arrangement. So many questions so far. Hopefully it doesnt drag out and continues at a good pace. And where were her parents when she almost died.

What a beautiful love story. I loved everything about this book. Well written and kept me coming back every single day to see what happens next. It proved to be worth every single minute I spent reading it. I would have liked to see Marianne have a baby or two but it was still a good read. I think I would actually read it again someday. It is well worth it. It never let me down even for a second.

Good so far- I’m enjoying it- very little mistakes…. Currently it leaves me wanting more. Kylian, the servant girl and Modric, at least in his mind and heart, have all seen what the harsh words have done to Mary Ann over the years. I would love to continue reading to see if he finally snaps out of blaming the whole bond thing on how he truly feels about Mary Ann. It's a frustratingly good read. When her heart stopped I was holding my breath. I didn't know what to think. If she had died what would be the ending of the story? I want to know who poisoned her. I'm thinking an elder or velvera. I want them caught. I must continue reading. Thank you for this story.

Started great few chapter became this annoying story of being reminded of the same thing over and over again. We get it he cheated , he chose velvera but we cant be reminded every chapter , redemption does not come from reminding the same thing over and over again. There was no healing and he was held hostage for it every chapter. Being different does not mean i make my choice from hurt and i must hold people hostage for it and it felt more of him being tortured for it than the attempt of healing and letting go. I really hope the writer heal ,this was not it.
