He never had his wolf because of his curse or so he thought and this made him ruthless, brutal and unwilling to become the Alpha that he was supposed to be until a tiny, beautiful princess came into the picture, making him want to protect her at all cost and this could only be possible if he became the Alpha that he hated the most.

I still have a million questions about Lyla and Damon. But this story was beautiful. Although the one thing I didn't like was how much they kept from each other. Their relationship and bond would have grown so much if they shared more with each other. I love Damon's ruthless nature and Lyla's soft yet fiery nature. They match each other so well. We also didn't get to see the pack accept her as their Luna even though Damon told them she was, that respect and love a pack shows toward their Luna is what I love and wished that was present. But still no complaints loved the book.
