The only thing connecting them was Damian. Damian was Draco's son from his deceased wife, Kiara. And he happened to slip down to the mortal human world. There he was being raised by Liana who saw him as her own son. Things turn difficult when Lucian, Draco's brother start developing feelings towards Liana just like he had for Kiara, in his heart.

Very interesting point of view, not quite what I was expecting. I definitely wish there would have been more to the story with Lucian and Liana before she was gone from the story. However, it was quite an unexpected outcome. Not particularly a fan of this book, but hopefully it will find some redemption in the end. I am looking forward and hoping to the rest being more towards what I imagined this story would have been. Five out of ten.
