There are good main characters and a well rounded supporting cast. I particularly enjoybthat there is believable character development. I find the long running plot points interesting and I hope that they pay off later in the story. I am very much enjoying reading this novel. The sections about ballet feel realistic for the potential career and drive of Haven. I hope the unlikability of the adoptive parents is for a good reason not just to remove them from the plot.
