Beautiful story! Honestly love the reality of Wes and Haven. Wes for knowing that things may not go his way, and Haven for being resilient! Also as the sibling of an adopted child it was really interesting to see the story play out. A great story of perseverance, love, boundaries, acceptance, support, and so much more! There are so many books that make relationships look perfect and unattainable, and though it has a little if that it also has characters that take responsibility for their mistakes and are genuine in trying to change their ways! 😀
