I also understand why she keeps running away it's to avoid getting hurt by others. She's been alone and had to protect herself after being kidnapped. She became a strong woman because of what happened to her and that's inspiring. Her mate should try to see things from her perspective she had no one to look out for her or protect her and now she has to be a luna nd look pretty when that's not the person she is.
