Everly is shunned by the pack for not aborting her child, stripped of her title, and forced to be rogue with her newborn son. Eventually making something of herself and thinking her life was going back to some kind of normal, she felt she could finally be free of everyone suppressing her. Only then did the Blood Alpha discover he is her fated mate. After years of being on her own, he has come to claim her and his son. Everly has no interest in being with the man that denied her son and shamed her; the man that helped cause her suffering. But can she resist the bond and protect herself and her son, or will she give in and become his Luna?

The story talks about the effects of double standards, stereotypes, fears and lies on a person and society. I find the characters are all wrapped in their own version of these issues. The alpha's are so concerned about titles that they hurt the one's they're supposed to love and take care of in their lives. The women in the story seem to be upset about the issues and how they are effecting them but aren't really grabbing the opportunities to create a major change. The writer doesn't give a voice or life to the wolf like a lot of stories nor does she mention the Moon goddess. The characters are just like us dealing with life's daily issues. I'm interested in seeing how the story ends now that certain truths are being revealed by a child. The old saying "a little child shall lead them" is true in this situation.
