I love the plot, it’s different from the typical shifter romance. The only thing I don’t like about the book is how misogynistic the men are. Some part are for the plot but other parts, like how the MMC describes his one night stands and his hatred for them, is clearly internalized misogyny from the author. Its gross when authors write that way. It doesn’t take away from the plot to have the men in stories have a basic respect for the women they sleep with. If a woman is good enough to sleep with, the man is her equal and has no right to degrade her. Major ick from the author for the way the MMC talks about the women he desires enough to bring home.
