It started out as one story, but then switched to another. Very confusing and irritating. I kept reading and did get interested in the second storyline. I was enjoying the story, but the author just up and left us with a very unsatisfying ending. Everything in the story was just left hanging. There needs to be another book to wrap up all the different character storylines. If this is the absolute ending for this story, it is not worth your time or money to read.

To many storylines that aren’t connected. Pick one and stick with it. Preferably the first one. The Calhoun storyline. Who changes stories and completely rewrites the characters history in the middle of the story. It makes no sense. I assume this is an AI story from the lack on consistency it has. I think my 10 year old grand daughter can do better at writing a consistent story than this writer is. It’s not worth the money to read it.

It’s a story many can relate to. Unrequited love. Loving the wrong person. A woman getting involved with a man that treats her like her father did her and her mother. I can’t wait to see Elodie rise above it all. I can’t wait to see grown into the strong, fierce, unstoppable woman she was meant to be. It would be a treat to see them all fall at her feet with regret too. Great read! Thanks

In all honesty the book started off great Elodi was strong, Mika was a great friend and Calhoun was an aggravating choice of man but I was curious to see how the story would continue with these people. When the story showed she’d moved on I was ok with that. But then the story changed completely. Like the first relationship. With Calhoun no longer existed. The back story became inconsistent, she met Dante and left her dreams right after work. But she was already done school and working for Calhoun for years. Mila was never mentioned again and the story blossomed into another story entirely. One very similar to another story with a different. And and characters but exactly starts off the same. She comes home hoping for a little family birthday time for herself and daughter is making a bday gift for the mistress. Husband and daughter bother want the mistress and she leaves giving away custody and started her life in tech, in research etc. and moved on with life, still doing her due diligence to her daughter as the person who gave birth but just the bare minimum.

This book catches your attention right away, the chapters flow easily. The characters are kept to their story line. They don’t bounce all over. Lots of variety in characters too. I have enjoyed this very much. I will say my hope is she ends up with Calhoun. I think her life has been hell because her true connection is with Calhoun, her first true love. Now that they both know they were fated mates, maybe the ending puts the lovers back together.

Bit of a confusing heroin. Why is she repeating the same mistake and what's happened to Calhoun and sister. Having said this I am enjoying reading it, just annoyed at the repetition and missing characters. Also feel the energy is leaving , possibly just an attempt to increase chapters rather than actually adding anything of real value to the story. The descriptions in the first few chapters are brilliant, but as I previously stated the energy from these has dwindled off

I really enjoyed reading the novel and it was fun being able to see all the different characters points of view instead of just one. The story line definitely made you feel empathy for Elodie and the life she had and to see her rise above all the negativity was absolutely amazing. I didn’t realize there was another book so I am excited to see how it ends and what else happens in Elodie’s life. I am definitely hoping she is able to repair her relationship with her daughter.

Very frustrating, nothing resolved, endless chapters that were redundant. I read the first book, short but good, second part is where it went sideways, author kept losing focus, names were changed then corrected only to be changed again in later chapters. I can't believe I wasted so many coins not to mention my time trying to get to the end. The story foundation was good but could have been resolved multiple times but continued to drag out solely for profit.

The story was good, I wanted to know more about the beginning and what happened to earn all that hate she had received. There was an opportunity to delve more into the beginning and the end which left you hanging and not satisfied with. The writer did a great job of explaining the areas that were covered in the story, just felt that something was still missing. I wanted to know a little bit more about the dynamics between Dante and Elodie.

Loving this dramatic and heart wrenching story about the werewolf world. The story so far travels from love, lust, dyed mates to rejection and betrayal and heartache. I enjoy seeing and reading much from the perspective of the main character male who is struggling with his feelings and his regrets. The female main character is strong yet silent in her struggle to overcome her heartbreak and rejection. Looking forward to seeing how these two characters make their way back together.
