Reseñas de The Night Before I Knew Him
Cynthia Garcia
Highly entertaining, but sometimes you will question how our main female character can not say anything when her boss is being so hot and cold with their emotions. Also if my roommate had ever violated my room to sleep with some random guy when she had a room of her own to do that, I 💯 would have been kicking her out. So disrespectful. The fact her second roommate talks her down from doing exactly that and tried to gaslit her about how crazy it was made me question if their girl comes from an abusive home because you would need to be a custom to such treatment to continue to allow it that be happening.

Interesting, funny and dramatic. I like the concept and the story line although the drama is still the main concept and sometimes it can be a lot and you need to stop for a (little) breathe. But apart from that, I like this book, it is no boring so far and it keeps you in suspense you cannot resist to wait for the next chapter and see how things are going to be, because you think the characters are going to react in a way but every time they act completely different from what you thought, and I like that. Very unique.

This is an absolute good read! Once I started reading, I, really, just could not stop. Very Good work! I am very appreciative of the story line and having both perspectives of the main character's. The thought processes of June and of Hermes gave the story of special touch. Especially, because they both are crazy about each other from tge start .😄 I love how naturally human the characters feel lol. It was super intriguing from the very start.

We’re wired to look for patterns and feel in control—like we’re predicting what’s coming next. Then something flips the script, and suddenly you realize the rules were never what you thought. It creates that double feeling: fun because it’s surprising, and unsettling because it exposes how limited our control really is. A lot of great storytelling—and even games or puzzles—play with that tension. They let you feel in charge just long enough that the twist actually means something. Without that illusion of control, the surprise wouldn’t land as hard. And zooming out a bit, it does echo something real: we make plans, build narratives about our lives, but there are always bigger systems, randomness, and other people shaping outcomes in ways we can’t fully steer.

I like this novel plot. The intensity... the excitement... the wondering what is going to be next ... there is never a dull moment for June.. I like the fact that you can't really see what's coming next..... you want to keep reading ... you want to know so you keep going. I love the story line. Something different and exciting. The writter keeps the audience glued and interested...I can't wait for the next chapters excitement!!! Another late night 😄 🥰 😅

The author has written an interesting story with lots of twists, hints and clues leading to a romantic love match - however, I do find that the story drags. I find it clever how the author can present two very contrasting views of how a conversation or incident occurred both out loud and within the character’s mind/inner thoughts. I am anxious to see how their love for one another finally unfolds. Hopefully she steals his heart and his softens!

It's well written, really nice to read. If not the coins i would read it all night long. Characters are well created. But i'm waiting for June's actions, what will she do? And what is going on with Hermes's past? I'm trying to keep up with him changing his mood. Do they will be together on the end of the day? I can't wait to know that. In my opiniom theere is to much of them avoiding each other. In fact i'm practicing my english while reading this novel:)

I cant give a full review, I’m only at ch40… I miss who I thought June was - fiery, fierce, confident, fun. I guess it shows that she is young and inexperienced. I’m still confused what Hermes is claiming his condition to be? Sex addict? What ugly unjustified behaviour this shows of one. Short chapters, not always eventful. Typos make it feel like it is AI generated. Hoping it picks up some excitement soon as it feels a bit dragged out at present.

I love the book, Im so pissed that June and Hermis dont talk about their feelings for each other, they are both indenial, I mean its obvious the tension so thick you can cut it with a knife. Im starting to not like Hermis's lustfull side, why is sex the only way he distresses. But I am looking forward to knowing more about his condition hoping it will appear somewhere in the book. June June June, I love her, she must just stop giving this man power over her.

Great story! Well written by the author. Had me hooked from the start. Couldn’t wait to see what happened next. I loved that the author gave both sides of the story from both perspectives. Loved the characters and good to learn about their back stories. Couldn’t wait till to see if they eventually re-lived their first night together. I initially was watching videos to unlock but got tired of waiting so purchased the weekly membership as couldn’t wait to read more!
