It is so refreshing to read a book about an older woman, not just a young teen still in highschool or fresh out of college. I'm really loving the family dynamics among the extended cast. It's also been great to have a male lead who is dominant without being a jerk to the main character! So far, the storyline and plot has been intriguing, I can't wait to see how the rest of the story pans out. Brava, Brava, Brava!

I love so much of this story, Reese and Helen are awesome. So are Bunny, Ty and Jaxson. The Jolene/Hank storyline is worrying, and I really really hope for a good ending there. Hank is everything that is wrong with men like him, especially police men like him. I truly hope we see him imprisoned, or at least off the force and run out of town and a restraining order. Dean is cute as a button, as is JD, I especially love how much he’s changed and grown since finding out a few hard truths.

This is the 2nd time I have read this book I really like it hope to find more books like this one why do I have to do eighty words it killing me I don’t do writing very well so just know that I like this one . The first couple of chapters it’s a bit confusing As a series or a movie I see it enter changing flipping back and forth between the character and eventually meeting up together The book introduces way too many characters if you’re tired from work don’t read it It needs your attention to truly appreciate it I am extremely impressed by the writer and style of writing Truly recommend reading it Touches a lot of social realities and day to day issues I love it

I loved this story! I't has it all from domestic violence and grief to happiness and love. The book his well written and it made it very hard to put it down. In the middle of the night when I was supposed to sleep and thought to myself, just this chapter and after that "just one more".. A lot of the nights I stopped reading around three in the morning not the best thing to do when you're supposed to be up around seven. But it is very interesting to see how the story grew. -from Sweden

I really like this book so far. Great character in the story. Most of them are doing great things. Reese, is surrounded by all women in his family. Love how he so protective are caring of all of them. He so gentle with Helen. Look forward to see Helen and Jolene realizes they are deserving of love. I love the work Bunny and Reese do to help abused families. I remember when was in elementary school a boy in my class always wore long pants to cover marks from his dad. In high school a girl told me that her and mom were trying to get away from her dad and he chased them down and caught them.

I wasn’t to sure about this book in the beginning, but the more I read it, the more I loved it, it would have been nice to conclude a few characters like the father and a few other characters, and include others a bit more. This book only took me a few days from start to finish. It was also a slightly different style of plot than I’m used to, but it’s also well worth the read.

Love this novel. Finally a man empowering a woman to be her big, beautiful, blushing self. A very realistic depiction of tragedies and joyful expression of existing in the moment. I was concerned for the characters in their darkest moments and elated when they burst forth with their need to be seen and appreciated for who they were. I would be invested in them as friends or family if they breathed beyond the written word. Thank you for writing such a emotion-capturing story.
