Overall I enjoy this novel, however I did nearly stop reading simple because there were a few storyline that were dragged out making the novel boring. Also I was not a fan of the ending it felt that part was rushed together. So much more could have been done there. There were plenty of avenues that could have been expanded and I would have liked if they were expanded rather than the ending being rushed together just to finish it.

Good story. Crazy how horrible people can be. But don’t like the fact that I can’t re-read a chapter, as there were issues that did not make sense and I wanted to check what I thought I previously read and remembered. It is frustrating for me dealing with memory issues from a TBI. So I am thinking I have to start buying paper books again and that way I can take my time reading and refresh my memory if I am having a memory loss day. I just started trying to read again after not reading for over seven years becuse it gave me a headache. I still get a headache but not as severe as it used to be.

It’s a nice novel. I like the two protagonist. Terrence is a real gentleman and Emery’s character too is great. Love their chemistry. It seems that Terrence is already in love with Emery, hence his anger towards her when she flatly said she won’t be pregnant of his baby. This is quite harsh towards Terrence and heartbreaking too. I wish to see them more playful and teasing towards each other and maybe Emery accept Terrence help and finally finds some peace and happiness.

This story is an addictive blend of romance, drama, misunderstandings, and unexpected emotions. The chemistry between the leads keeps you hooked, especially as their relationship slowly changes from an unwanted marriage into something much deeper. I enjoyed the twists, emotional moments, and the way the characters gradually understood their true feelings. The pacing is engaging, making it easy to keep reading chapter after chapter. If you enjoy dramatic marriages, second chances, and slow-burn romance with plenty of surprises, this is definitely worth reading!

This was one of the best reads I’ve read in a while. Despite being frustrated because it takes so long for them to say what’s happening. There were a few unanswered events or they were explained briefly even though it seemed a lot of time was invested in the event but then just ended without giving more information. I do feel like maybe a few chapters could’ve been added to include some resolution. However the love between these two was very genuine. Love.

Loved it! Could not stop reading it. The plot was fast paced and never boring. It never dragged on, the author always had you wanting more of the story. If there was anything that I thought could have had another story line was the relationship between her best friend Georgian and Callum. I think that was a missed opportunity for another story. This was probably one of the better stories that I have read in a long time, keep up the good work!!

I really like the love interest. Terrence is thoughtful and seems to be seriously interested in formulating a relationship between the two of them. I actually did not approve of him taking his mother’s and family’s side about her personal item being damaged. He immediately went off without any regard to her feelings just disrespecting his wife instead. Her blatant disregard for his own feelings about progressing their relationship, the possibility of children, irritated me. We shall see where this leads!

I really like this novel. But I do not like how Emery has completely decided to turn her feelings off. That caught me off guard. The book seems like it was written in a different country and then translated to English but I am enjoying it alot. It could also just be the fact that I had a stroke and several seizures and I keep having to go back and re read things over and over. Lol. I'm pretty sure its just me.

Overall I would rate this 3 star. Its a good start to the book but middle to end the story loses its interest for me. The relationship which the main character was great until it the death of her father. Which ended the relationship which didnt feel well conected, It felt like the writer lost the thread of the story and broke the characters up for no reason. Then bought a kid to bring the two main character back together which was not a believe thing.

This has been a pretty good book for the most part so far, but it's starting to drag and be repetitive. It's time for the story to move along. I'm on chapter 41, and I don't know how many chapters total there are, but I hope it picks back up quickly or I'm liable to push it aside for now. Terrence is treating her terribly considering that he should know how independent she is. The mom-in-law is pure evil for no reason. I'd never dream of meddling in my son's relationships like she has.
