This book is a mixed bag. The writer’s skill is undeniable, keeping the story engaging despite a frustrating dynamic. The main issue is the male lead; it is hard to stay fully invested when he frequently treats the heroine like a sex object rather than respecting her. You constantly wish he would step up and treat her better. Meanwhile, the intimacy is decent—not mind-blowing, but good enough. If you can overlook the problematic treatment, the overall storytelling is still worth a read.

I wish I could show Lucian for being such an arrogant person and hurting the poor woman as if she owes him anything while his own mother messed him up, he needs to grow up and smell the coffee...why bleed on someone who has nothing to so with your situation. To think that such things happen in real life as well is sad. The author ensured we are completely soaked into this story and not letting go with the hope that Bella finally finds true love through this brute

This book is a romantic story about two people who cannot stand each other at first. They argue a lot and are always trying to beat each other. Slowly, however, their hate turns into love, which makes the story more exciting. I enjoyed reading it because the characters have great chemistry and their feelings develop gradually. Sometimes the story was a little predictable, but it was still interesting. I would definitely recommend this book to people who enjoy romance and enemies-to-lovers stories.

It’s strange how passionate, obsessive, and wild his love is. As heartbreaking as it is to witness the woman’s helplessness, many of us still find ourselves hoping he’ll heal and that they’ll somehow end up together. I don’t know why that feels acceptable or why it seems to make the situation easier to accept, but subconsciously we end up rooting for their love and their future. Why do so many people excuse his behavior simply because he’s rich, attractive, or famous?

The story is intersting and the intimate scenes build throughout. The story changes in ways i didnt expect. I am curious to see what will happen between Bella and the billionaire. Some spots are hard to read with what the billionaire says and does to Bella. Hoping for a happy ending but who knows with a personality like Lucien more like Lucifer! I hope they run another DNA test for the baby. The author definitely peeks interest with details.

I'm really enjoying the writing style and the chemistry between the characters. This is my first dark romance so I'm a bit torn because of how undeniably terrible the male lead is. I'm holding out for character development though. I want to see where the author is taking me. Though there is a typical archetype in the leads, I feel like the storyline has not been what I expected and I'm looking forward to seeing how these two end up. Plus the sex is so good 😭. Hoping to manifest it into my real life!

Desperately Need more! This such an intense, keep you going novel! Just when you think it's going to stop or that's then end it another thing comes along and you can't put it down and have to continue with it. Definitely keeps you on the edge. The descriptions are very well described and you can let your imagination for them perfectly. Really can't wait for the next parts cause this book has me hooked. I need it all, now please

Nice story.. Good pace... The end is left hanging... I wonder if the story is finished or it's not.. Story line is good... Bella made a name for herself after all she's been through and with her past... But the auther never really give a clear back story about bella... Like how she became orphan... How her mum died and how her mum met her father... And the drama between lucien bella and lucien half brother... Would be nicer if there's an update or a book 2 to this title.
