I enjoyed how the love story played out. It was sad to lose Dawson before the baby was born though. I liked the way the author played out the story and it pretty much kept my attention ( I practically binge read!) With that said I do have a few negative comments. My biggest complaint is about the proofreading. Or lack of it. It was terrible. There should not have been that many errors, from saying the wrong character to words misspelled or misused. At times I couldn’t even figure out what the word was supposed to be. I also think the amount of money it took to read the book was on the high end. To have to continually read so many errors was aggravating and if I didn’t enjoy the story as much as I did I would have stopped reading it. .

Awwwww I totally loved this. I literally binge read it in 2 days and just could not put it down. Fabulous job on keeping the storyline suspenseful. I was on the edge of my seat for some sections and then got some sections I was most in tears. I can't believe how vile Jessica's aunt was. And when she got kidnapped I cried like she was my family. I love the story build up between Jessica and Xavier. Amazing job.

It is a good read. Jessica is falling for her husband and he is falling for her. He just can not see it now. She is being kind to everyone even him. What will he do if she stops cooking for him? He can tell she is not with him for his money. Plus he needs to grow up some. Maybe the Grandpa can convince him to take her on the honeymoon she deserves. Then maybe they will for in love.

This book was an okay read overall. The story had some interesting moments, and a few of the characters kept my attention. However, the pacing was uneven, and parts of the plot felt predictable. While the writing was easy to follow, I wanted more depth and stronger character development. It wasn't a bad book, but it also wasn't especially memorable. If you're looking for a simple, casual read, you may enjoy it, but I probably wouldn't read it again. THANK YOU

I actually don’t mind the story but there is a lot of repetition of the leading man being emotionally stunted and her being from an orphanage but neither have actually sat down and had a good conversation about their families and that crack pot of an aunt who bleeds money from the poor girl. Terrific story. Two flawed humans who desperately need each other but so far are too afraid to let their guard down. She is terrified that if she opens up, that he will eventually hurt her - not because he’s cruel, just the opposite. He is kind, but in his fear of abandonment, he has created not only a wall around himself, but also a moat - making it impossible for anyone to get in. However, cracks are starting to appear in both their armor.

This book features a genuinely captivating storyline that completely hooks you from the very first page. However, the entire reading experience is held back by a weak, unpolished translation. It feels quite obvious that the prose was not originally written in English, as many chapters suffer from awkward, clunky phrasing. If you are able to look past these jarring linguistic bumps, the underlying plot remains strong enough to make it a decent read. It is a worthwhile story, it just lacks a smooth, professional delivery as it could be. If you can look past some of the awkward phrasing, the plot itself makes it a decent read.

So far so good the poor grammar makes it hard to read suggest a human proof read before publishing or allow readers to suggest corrections. I have some questions and cannot wait to find the answers. Does Xavier get a heart? What is Leslie’s role? What does she get out of the friendship with Jessica? What happens to Dawson? Does Jessica open her business? Who is Jessica? Where did she come from? All to be revealed as I continue to read.

I honestly love the book...i cant put it down i just want to keep reading it thay much.Thank you for blessing us with such a nice story.Xavier is becoming a new man hehe just shows how a strong women can change a man over a short amount of time.And it also shows how being spoiled rotten can make you lose sight of life and how people that dont have the privileges you have get by and still make it..Not even a broken heart will get one down.But everyone has the right to feel the way they do whether rich or poor.Respect means show much alot is showcased in this book it honestly let you look at things differently because nothing is just black and white the inbetweens here is so visible and its so interesting how things in life can change you as a person completely.Being just seen as a nother contract to becoming someone others cant go without.Also knowing your worth and not giving up is something so special.Losing yourself to wealth when you never had it and not abusing it to get ahead and then making new friends and forming new bonds.This story is an eye opener to alot of people who thinks others are under them ..status isnt everything.But i also believe in eventhough you get given everything being spoiled and what not does not always make you a brat...some people just choose to be arrogant heheh.Overall the book has really touched me.I would love to rrad more books of this author.It was a great view in things.I hope there is like a follow-up on this book because i cant get enough hehe.Keep going at it and always have fun.Its just a pity they making a chapter so short because i cant stop reading.Very good book really.

Keeps you wanting to read more. The cast is great with warm and cold characters. Hopefully Vanessa and x will get together. She has allot of work to do, to get him to thaw out. He will miss her cooking!!! I believe grandpa will get him to pull his ass out of the ground and see what a wonderful woman he married. Hopefully she can find his soft spot and work him in to a real man who can care and be loved.
