About me

You can call me Darth Artickus, I'm a Ukrainian veteran, writer, gamer, vocalist, and fitness lover! It's nice to meet you all! Once a Renaissance icon, Benvenuto Cellini said that a well-rounded man has to be an artist, warrior, and philosopher. A statement so impressive that the first guitarist of Nirvana Jason Everman was so influence he became an Army Ranger. I may be kind of similar in that regard, and I do agree with Cellini on that statement. As long as I can remember myself, I've always strived for creativity. Expanding my imagination beyond limits, building worlds inside my head. Back in my school days when I got fascinated with learning a new language - English, I just started writing my thoughts and short stories, even during classes. I loved music, so I learned to sing and became a vocalist in a band (more than one, in fact) and also was writing lyrics for the songs. In my spare time, I read fiction books, pumped the iron in the gym, as well as played an insane amount of video games, but I also had to study for my degree in Finance. But later the war came storming into my country because of an imperial ambition of neighboring country 404, so I had to take up arms and volunteer to fight. In my lifetime of mere mortal. I've been a sound engineer on a local TV station, fought for freedom on Maidan Square, fought on the frontline, been a live-streamer, worked to become the Head of Support in a startup IT company. So as I soaked all those experiences and things that life and myself threw at me, the passion for writing and creativity never left me. The worlds rose and fell in my imagination, stories appeared, fueled by all those real-life encounters and experiences. I believe that the power of creation and the power of destruction live together within human nature, they are the same, yet different, forever intertwined. But is there anything as vast and never-ending as human creativity and imagination?! I'm not sure! So I look forward to sharing my passions with you, my future readers, so much!
