Could you give a chance to the person who hurt you and made you lose your trust? They say love will be your strong lock to keep your relationship strong. “Don’t you really have anything else to do but hide from me?” Ashton asked Mitsuki, annoyed. “I don’t know why you keep following me even though you know I’m avoiding you!” Mitsuki’s litany to Ashton. If you continue to trust and value each other, love will not fade away. The many trials that will come will put the relationship to the test, as will your strength to face them all while fighting for your love.
“Don’t you really have anything else to do but hide from me?” he asked annoyed, and his speech shows his restraint.
“I don’t know why you keep following me even though you know I’m avoiding you!” I said, crying.
Suddenly, there was silence between the two of us. I don’t know where I can hide or what I can do to stay away from him. He shouldn’t be here, and it’s been a long time since I last saw him and talked to him like this. I’m annoyed because of what he's doing. I’m annoyed because no matter what I hide, he finds me. The heavy rain poured gradually, and that was the only thing I could hear.
“Y-you know how much I love you, right?” I looked at him, and I couldn’t help feeling sorry. “You know how much I care for you and how much I miss you. From time to time, I wanted to see you, hug you, and kiss you, but I couldn’t do it because you’re not by my side.”
His voice softens my heart. I don’t know what to do. I shouldn’t be away from him. I won’t leave his side if he just lets me do what I want. He’s too strict; he’s too jealous; he’s too scary, and I admit it. It’s my fault he’s acting like this now. I clenched my hands, closed my eyes tightly, and wiped my tears.
“How about Audrey?” I ask.
“What about her?” he asked me too.
“What about her?” I said, annoyed, then I washed my face. “She makes me look stupid; she makes me look bad. You believe everything she says, and you don’t listen to my explanation.” I was so upset that all I could do was sob. “I did… I did everything. I explained everything! But there is none of that fvcking explanation that you listen to. You didn’t listen to a single one of those.”
I cried even more, remembering all that happened. I was the victim here. I admit that I still f*cking love him. But because of Audrey’s intervention then, I hardly knew what to do just to make her believe me. He came to me, held my hand, and then caressed my face. I feel his regret, but I don’t know if I can accept it.
I wiped my tears, then I sighed loudly, and turned away from him. I looked out the window and saw Mommy standing there watching us, but I couldn’t look back at her. I entered the house and then shut the gate. When I walked through the front door, I was greeted by my sister, who was carrying a towel. I’m drenched in the rain, and I don’t mind. She handed it to me and then assisted me into my room.
When I got in there, my sister left me and locked the door. When I was alone, I sat on the floor and cried again. I don’t know why this is, but I feel bad because of the rain. I want him out of my life, but he keeps chasing me, even though I’m the one trying to stay away from him.
I stood up, then went into the bathroom to take a shower and get dressed. When I got dressed, I saw Mommy smiling at me. She stood up, then approached me and led me to sit down and face the mirror. She removed the towel from my hair, then prepared the blower.
“A lot has happened in the past two years. I know that a lot has changed for you, and I know that you are still hurt to this day. You can’t be trapped in the past all your life and let yourself not come out of a dark room, can you?” she said, smiling while looking at me in the mirror.
“Mommy, you know what happened, don’t you?”
“Well, why do you seem to be on his side?” I asked with a sneer.
“I’m not, Mitsuki,” she said, still laughing.
“Ashton is the guy I hate, Mommy.”
“But Ashton is also the man you love, Mitsuki,” she said with a smile.
“I’m your mom; I know all about you from your head to toe.”
I just closed my eyes tightly at what Mommy said, and I don’t know why I have to be stuck in this situation now. I have accepted my quiet life, and I know that what is in the past cannot be changed. I sighed and said goodbye to Mommy, who was going to cook dinner. I looked out the window because the rain continued. I stood up and then looked out the window and gasped when I saw Ashton there and not leaving.
He doesn’t move, and he really stays in his position on the outside. He should have left, and he should not be doing this anymore because he is making me feel guilty. I was surprised when the door suddenly opened, and my sister appeared. She smiled at me, closed the door, then approached me and looked out the window.
“Oh, he’s still here,” she said as if indicating something. “It’s raining, and I don’t know if it’s going to stop or if there’s going to be a storm?” She looked at me and raised her eyebrows, and I also raised my eyebrows.
“You make me feel guilty, don’t you?” I asked, annoyed.
“Oh, I am not a little sister. I’m just saying that if you don’t want him to get sick, you should let him in,” she said, then turned her back on me and left.
I looked at him and closed my eyes tightly. “Sometimes my conscience and I really fight,” I said to myself, and then I took a towel and an umbrella.
I got down, then I approached him. There were his sad eyes, and I could feel the pain in them. I asked him to wait, and then I gave him the towel without saying anything. We went inside, and I let him go to the room. I left the room first and went to my sister’s room. She laughed at me as if something was funny, but the annoying thing was that she saw me go out.
“HAHAHAHAHAHA. You’re fragile.”
CHAPTER 1: BEGINNING (Past)
I woke up early in the morning to prepare myself. I need to find a job so I’m not just at home. After I resigned from my previous job after a week, I also thought that I really needed to entertain myself without being bored and just staying at home. When I got ready, I went downstairs and met my older sister Haruka, who was eating hotcake.
“Woah, you’re early today?” she asked, then I took a hotcake.
“I’m finding a job,” I said, and she was surprised.
“You just resigned a weeks ago; are you going to apply again?”
“Hey, Haruka. She did that for the fifth time. I don’t know about your sister and can’t be bothered with just one company,” mommy said, and then I made some milk.
“I told you last time. Just go to the café,” she said, and I ignored her.
After I had breakfast, I left. We have our own business, but I don’t want to work for our own company
