“Don’t you really have anything else to do but hide from me?” he asked annoyed, and his speech shows his restraint.

Suddenly, there was silence between the two of us. I don’t know where I can hide or what I can do to stay away from him. I wiped my tears, then I sighed loudly, and turned away from him. I looked out the window and saw Mommy standing there watching us, but I couldn’t look back at her. I entered the house and then shut the gate. When I walked through the front door, I was greeted by my sister, who was carrying a towel. I’m drenched in the rain, and I don’t mind. She handed it to me and then assisted me into my room.

When I got in there, my sister left me and locked the door. When I was alone, I sat on the floor and cried again. I don’t know why this is, but I feel bad because of the rain. I want him out of my life, but he keeps chasing me, even though I’m the one trying to stay away from him.

I stood up, then went into the bathroom to take a shower and get dressed. When I got dressed, I saw Mommy smiling at me. She stood up, then approached me and led me to sit down and face the mirror. She removed the towel from my hair, then prepared the blower.

“A lot has happened in the past two years. I know that a lot has changed for you, and I know that you are still hurt to this day. You can’t be trapped in the past all your life and let yourself not come out of a dark room, can you?” she said, smiling while looking at me in the mirror.

“Mommy, you know what happened, don’t you?”

“I am.”

“Well, why do you seem to be on his side?” I asked with a sneer.

“Ashton is the guy I hate, Mommy.”

I was surprised when the door suddenly opened, and my sister appeared. She smiled at me, closed the door, then approached me and looked out the window.

“Oh, he’s still here,” she said as if indicating something. “It’s raining, and I don’t know if it’s going to stop or if there’s going to be a storm?” She looked at me and raised her eyebrows, and I also raised my eyebrows.

“You make me feel guilty, don’t you?” I asked, annoyed.

“Oh, I am not a little sister. I’m just saying that if you don’t want him to get sick, you should let him in,” she said, then turned her back on me and left.

I looked at him and closed my eyes tightly. “Sometimes my conscience and I really fight,” I said to myself, and then I took a towel and an umbrella.

I got down, then I approached him. There were his sad eyes, and I could feel the pain in them. I asked him to wait, and then I gave him the towel without saying anything. We went inside, and I let him go to the room. I left the room first and went to my sister’s room. She laughed at me as if something was funny, but the annoying thing was that she saw me go out.

I woke up early in the morning to prepare myself. I need to find a job so I’m not just at home. After I resigned from my previous job after a week, I also thought that I really needed to entertain myself without being bored and just staying at home.
