Don't Be Scared

Ghosts, spirits, demons, angels, witches and many more. We all heard about them. Some also said that they saw them but science tells that it's just our imagination there is no such thing as ghost, souls, angels etc.

Many people believe that spiritual things are always with us. We can't see them but they can see us, hear us and if they want they can RUIN US.

The story started like a regular, normal day. There is a market here which always stays crowded. Some were buying their household stuff, some were going to their workplace. Mr. Walter's shop had a huge line as always people were there for his famous cheese and sausage pizza.

There is a little girl among the crowd her shining hair, her bright smile caught the attention of Sophia. Her age will be somewhat around 4-5. She was walking with her mother, they both were holding each other's hands, having a normal conversation but suddenly the girl asked her mom a question. Seems like the question made the girl's mother worried.

"Mama when will dada come home?" The girl said with hope in her eyes. She looked up at her mother her eyes was searching answer at her mother's face.

By hearing the question the mom looked away and she was quiet for a few seconds.

"Dada will never come, honey." Her mother's eye got darker. Saying this was stabbing her heart. She had tears in her eyes. She was trying her best to not cry.

But then she looked at her daughter's face with a smile and she said, "He is in a good place calls heaven."

"But he promised me he will come." Looks like the girl can't understand but we can't blame her she is very young to understand.

The mom becomes quiet again and they stopped in front of a shop. The mother left her daughter's hand for a while. The little girl saw an Ice Cream track across the other side of the road. She started running toward it. Soon she is in the middle of the road. A car was coming towards her. The car driver was on in a call. The mother noticed it she went after her daughter.

"Carlaaaaaaa (the girl's name) moveeee!!!!" Said the mother while running.

By hearing all the screams the car driver noticed Carla and he pushed the brake pedal but until then it was too late. The mother did save her daughter but the car crashed the mother.

"No no nooo!!!" Sophia started crying out while sleeping.

"Sophia, wake up. Are you listening to me? wake up." Aiden was worried and he was trying to wake her up. Aiden is Sophia's husband who will do anything for her.

Sophia sits on the bed. She looked at Aiden, she was really scared and Without thinking a second she hugged him tightly. Aiden hugged her back gently and making her feel safe, comfortable and telling her that he is here for her. She realized It was all a dream. No, not a dream A NIGHTMARE.

"Nightmare?" Aiden asked in a very soft voice.

Sophia replied, "Yes."

And Sophia burst into tears. Aiden was still holding her.

"Calm down, It was just a dream. Nothing bad is going to happen." Aiden was trying to calm her down.

Sophia stopped crying and started thinking something. She is still hugging Aiden.

"So the woman and her daughter, It was all a dream?" Sophia asked the question to herself.

~~A few minutes later~~

"Umm you know I can keep hugging you forever but I wanna say I made you breakfast and It is getting cold." Aiden whispered in her ear.

Sophia doesn't wanna leave Aiden because his warm arm makes her feel safe.

"Go shower. It will make you feel good. Until then I will make your breakfast warm. It is cold now." After saying this Aiden leaves the hug.

"I guess, you are right. I should shower also Elijah is coming here. He will be here at any time." Sophia replied and she started walking toward the washroom to shower.

"Well If you want we can do many more other things than hugging at the shower. Sooooooooo let me join you at the shower, Senorita." Aiden replied while having a smirk on his face.

"No, thank you." Sophia replied sarcastically.

"Boooorrrinnngg." Aiden replied while rolling his eyes.

"What's the smell? Do you have something in the kitchen?" Sophia asked Aiden.

"Oh shit, My special milky teaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. I am coming for you." Aiden reacted fast and ran toward the kitchen.

Sophia laughed and said to herself, "This dramatic, horny, tea lover is going to be the death of mine."

"But you LooOoOooooveee me." Aiden replied from the kitchen.

"How did you even heard me?" Sophia replied.

"I have a good hearing, Senorita." Said Aiden.

After Sophia did her shower and while she was eating her breakfast someone ring the doorbell. It was Elijah. Elijah is Sophia's best friend and also childhood friend.

"Hey, Sophia, Are you ready to go?" Elijah asked Sophia.

"Go where?" Sophia asked back.

"Seriously don't tell me you forgot. Come on we were supposed to go to the market." Elijah replied with a disappointed look.

"Oops, I am sorry I forgot. Give me 5 minutes I will get ready." After saying this Sophia went to change her clothes.

"The lie all ladies say I will get ready in 5 minutes," Elijah said to himself.

~~~~~~2000 years later~~~~~~

"Sophia, are you ready?" Asked 2000 years Old Elijah.

"Just 5 more minutes." Replied 2000 years old Sophia.

"Another 5 minutes....." said Elijah and he had a heart attack and he died.

Just kidding 😝

~~~~~~10 minutes later~~~~~~

"I am ready. Let's go," Sophia said to Elijah.

They went for the market. After buying some stuff Sophia saw the woman and the girl, Carla. They were walking beside the road. Everything started happening exactly her dream.

"Oh no, I think He is here." Sophia said in a scared tone. She was trembelling.

"Who is here?" Elijah asked Sophia.

But Sophia ignored him and start going after the woman and the child. Elijah also went after her. Then they saw the girl is at the middle of the road and a car is coming.

"We have to save this girl." Said Elijah and he started running toward the girl to save her. Sophia also went behind Elijah and stopped him.

"No, stop. you can't save her." Sophia said with tears in her eyes. She was trying her best to not cry.

By hearing what Sophia said Elijah had lots of questions to ask so he looked into Sophia's eyes and he was searching for the answer to his questions there.

He wanted to ask why can't save her but instead of this he said, "No, I can save her."

But suddenly the place became crowded, and they noticed the car already crushed the woman. Elijah ran to the woman while calling 911. The little girl was fully bloody by her own mother's blood. She was calling her mom and saying to wake up.

Sophia was standing there and watching the girl crying. Sophia's eyes were teary, her mind stopped working then she noticed a shadow standing beside the woman's dead body. It was looking at Sophia and smiling at her. In a blink of Sophia, the shadow came to Sophia and whispered in her ear.

"I am back, Sophia."
