I’m so invested in this story, I’ve pulled all-nighters reading it. There’s loneliness eased by family, heartbreak followed by compassion, questions finally finding answers that are not simple. Love in all its forms on clear display. I find myself returning to read previous chapters often simply because there are hints that are easy to miss but become vital at some point in the story. It’s not for those who fear gore I will say, so if you have trauma related to violence, think carefully before reading or be prepared to skip chapters- there are warnings so you won’t find it unexpectedly. That said, I absolutely would recommend this book
