I didn't expect it to be so emotional and heart-rending because at the beginning it's just about two kids writing letters to each other for a school assignment and decide to keep going, keep writing, it's cute and wholesome until it takes a turn for the worse. Honestly, I didn't expect the twist and turns it takes. I'm really enjoying the novel right now, love the characters, so far and like where its headed. Only half way through but hope it continues to be this good or better.
